I think what Kojima has done is truly brilliant. This is more than a video game, it is a story. Yes that means a lot of cutscenes, exposition, and yes, a lot of walking. But if you see all the pieces together... and understand WHY he made those choices, it really is something else. He’s telling a story through a medium that is mainly reduced to “find objective, shoot em up, next objective”. It’s not meant to be fast, you walk a lot because it’s an integral part of the plot and mechanics as well itself. It’s story building in a beautiful way. It’s not flawless for certain, but... how could it be? Groundbreaking is never flawless. I feel like he made a beautiful story that is very Accessible in sentiment. Reconnecting. The struggle of going it on your own, bonds we create, what sacrifice means. You can’t build this kind of story without it being mostly movie. I feel it’s a wonderful change of pace, and as the gameplay progresses, and the pieces fall together, you can tell how much passion is in this project, and that’s what makes it so unique. If that’s not your cup of tea, that’s totally ok, but I personally feel it’s a breathe of fresh air.

I think someone named Hideo Kojima had something to do with this game if I'm not mistaken?
Hmm i'm not sure. Roll the credits again!
@@Tails7212 yeah I thought he would be in the credits somewhere but I cant see it. What a modest creator 😊
Hideo who?
I get that the beginning of a 40 hour game should have alot of cinematic cutscenes. That's perfectly fine. But a video titled "37 Minutes of Gameplay" should have 37 minutes of gameplay.
The entire game is an allegory. Every little detail of this game is allegorical. I'm actually pretty floored by what Kojima is trying to tell us with this game and its sequel.
I’m in tears 3 years ago this game was a mystery an unknown but now we finally get to watch it and play it thank you Kajima son
Dekka Bacara you probably couldn’t afford it lmao

Love this new show. Can't wait for episode 2.
I love the part where he walks around aimlessly
i think that this game represents being a drug dealer in La Matanza
jajsjajakkb que capo
Amazing!!! Kojima it's years ahead of the rest of the industry. Visionary!
Is this a sarcastic comment?
Fragile has the most useless umbrella in all of umbrella history!
That umbrella can teleport
@@Robin-dr5zp no... it's fragile power to teleport.that umbrella stays.
The umbrella is sentimental to her, so she can teleport with it.
It shakes off the Timefall(which is VERY usefull) and sort of acts as a compass when she sends someone across the beach.
You wanna talk about a useless Umbrella? What about the one that makes bioweapons? Talk about false advertising XD
Take this L🤣
From someone who has played.... it's awesome

@@ioannisdenton we do the same mission "work" everyday
Remember how we amaze the graphic of Final Fantasty the Spirit Within movie, now we can play as game with even better graphic this day. Maybe it is cool to make the game of that movie too
30+ mins and I felt like a watched a mini movie lol can't wait for this sorta new to the kojima franchise and no doubt this will real me in
When you see deer jumping to their deaths, you KNOW things are %$%$% up!
they land on the other side of the gap ....
I feel like the public only praise the game since it has Kojima written all over it, had it been EA ( and still get the SAME game ) they would have done a 720 degree flip and boycott this walk simulator
Isaac Jensen nah ea couldn’t pull off a game like this bro. It would be full of bugs and micrograsactions and system crashes
If this exact game was shipped like this and just had an EA on the box I would still consider playing it tbh, only I'd be hesitant since it's EA
Soooo... what's going on here? This has to be the most confusing gameplay i've ever seen
Looks interesting but I'mma save my 60 bucks on something more enjoyable gameplay wise. Probably just watch a let's play instead.

Hemanth happy birthday to you and me lol
I figured it out.
In this game, YOU the player are the BTs, stranded on their game world. Around 28 minutes the camera is actually the POV of the creatures leaving the palm prints.
Not going to lie, I watched 14 minute of this game and I’m all in, it’s like how rpgs were interactive books to me, well this seems like a interactive movie I’m all on board with this, it’s all about the mind set going in.
This is one of the most funniest demonstrations of a game I’ve ever seen
There was like 5 mins of gameplay. Damn I guess people weren't exaggerating when they said Kojima loves his cutscenes
He has a tendency of making overcomplicated story lines, check out the metal gear series for example, but the stories are usually works of art.
Believe me you will feel more involved in a Kojima game than a marvel movie.. His MGS series set the standards...
If you’re still asking yourself what this game is... It’s about connection, empathy, sympathy, reconnecting people, unity. Kojima and his teams “perspective” on thee importance of it all. It’s a very creative outlook for those deep thinkers with an open mind.
I still don't know what this game is about (even after the release).
Post apocalyptic package delivery
How will u know if u don't play it moron?
Really? Lol it’s about connection, empathy, sympathy, reconnecting people, unity. Kojima and his teams “perspective” on thee importance of it all. It’s a very creative outlook for those deep thinkers with an open mind.
so basically even after the apocalypse, the only job will be left is the delivery services, hmm

Every Kojima game is an immersive cinematic experience 👀
Kojima creates pretentious art that is convoluted and full of itself.

Is this supposed to be America? Looks nothing like America. Look more like Iceland
Mowza lol so true
The is post apocalyptic. Ofcourse it isnt going to look like it does now
@@tylermiller1989 wow really. The land was wiped clean and the geography is totally different.
@@MylesDaye The in-game explanation is the rain that falls from the sky. It fast-forwards everything in time and creates a landscape that is like what it would be wayyyy early in development and like humans had barely settled it. "Primordial," sorta. This is why it's so different to current US.
@@scottgilley9644 That's explains somewhat. So i guess that includes inanimate objects that don't age?
The intro reminds me of Oblivion (2013)...... The visuals do look stunning!!!!
