It’s really just all about how you handle the car. Just always remember, fast in, slow out (of turns/corners). Sometimes I don’t even brake before making turns, just easing off the throttle to slow speed during the corner and slowly rising as you bend out. It always makes me feel like a race car driver lol😂

@@Woo.f32I promise you they consider the types of vehicles that are aloud on the road as well as account for possibility of pedestrians when making speed limits. Bicyclists are aloud on those types of roads as well

So unless it's a type of road where they have no right to be or they are unable to travel the minimum required speed, you can't tell them they're not allowed there just because you feel like going fast in your Beamer. The word you're actually looking for is "overtake", it's conceptually no different from overtaking a car. If you somehow still think you're in the right, please read about ACDA laws.

If you are taking a sip of a coffee with your right hand (while going the speed limit) and ran them over would it be your fault? Cars have cup holders and encourage you to drink your beverage while driving. Try riding 100 km or more in a park with a road bike lmao. And on the highway it's illegal in most countries and there are way more cars who wanna get somewhere quick

I think if you bike on a road like that the liability should be waived, the speed limit is probably 40 or something and here are 2 morons driving a vehicle with no shielding on a blind turn doing a fraction of the speed traffic will be doing. I know everyone has freedom and what not but some roads just are not safe for biking unless they're blocked off for bikes only for like an event. There's a lot of blind turns in the hills where I live and bikers ride on the side that allows drivers to see them. Sometimes it's safer to go into oncoming traffic if it means you allow for traffic to have more than double the time and distance to react to your presence
