Yaaaaaaay! East Coast! 🎉🎉😍😍 So grateful to you for making these vids! Love the pithy commentary too! 😂
I can't tell you how happy I am because I've watched this evolution take place over many years... At 61 I can't wait to purchase a one-story prefabricated cozy small home instead of my big House
Im in Pittsburgh. This is nice. It is informative. Thank you.
So exciting that a classy home is available on the EAST COAST!!! wow!!!! Thank you!!!
Sweet house! Better location. Thanks Kerry.
Thanks Kerry, even though I can't afford any of these I come here to fantasize... and generally feel good! Good work!
Kerry, Kerry, Kerry!! You've outdone yourself this time. Just when I was about to give up my search, you've found one that is less than 1/2 hour away from me. Later this summer, after I've spent way too much on vacation, I'll be checking this out. In your honor, I'm humming Au Canada! Always enjoyed your vids. Will let you know 🙂if things can work out.
let us all know ok? Have a great vacation too.
It has a nice simple
straightforward look. 👍
East coast operation. 👍
I like it. Very comfortable looking
Glad to hear it!
Nice size too ! 👍
Thanks 🙌🏼
Finally….East Coast🎉
Haha been getting a lot of requests
Nice informative video. Nice size. Seems to have everything a person needs. Great job! Thank you.
Thanks John!
I love it. I am going to look into this a bit more. And thanks for finding something on the East Coast. Cheers!
Great option covering the "other" coast! 😉😅 Thanks, Kerry!
Another good one thanks Kerry! From what can be seen in the video the only main drawback for me at this point would be exiting to the backyard from the bedroom. For more privacy it might be nice to have large sliding door off of the dining room area to exit into the backyard. Would be convenient for barbecuing in addition to accessing the yard not going through a private space like a bedroom
Like it!! Not far to ship to Ontario 👏👏👏
Very nice modern-looking home ! 👍
Right!?
Thanks for this one. I like the solid wall idea. I might opt for a skylight over the corridor though...
🥶🖤🔔👍🏻💞
Haleluja! You heard me! An East Coast builder at last!
Haha I do listen 😂
Really like the feel of this one. Not too many windows but still plenty of light which is probably better in an urban small lot location. Well ferreted out, great job as ever.
Glad you like it
The typical city lot in Pittsburgh, where I grew up, is narrow and deep. The pictures of the installed models appear to be on a typical city lot. I'm very interested to learn where they are located to check them out. Great work, Kerry
Great video 🎉
You are a Man
on a Mission. !!!!!
You got that right! Glad you like it
Harry Vine has a nice starter home. I can't wait to see future homes.
Glad you like it!
Thank you Kerry. 👍👍🏠🏠This might be an actual option for my small budget and not too far from me. The name Harry Vine comes from his children's names, son Harry and daughter Vivian.
I'd love a video + graphic where you do a "Best 10 Luxury PFs" another "Best Affordable PFs" , "10 Best large PFs", " Overall 10 Best PFs".
Like the design.
Ouch on the price! But I guess it's expensive to get "fully serviced by Harry Vine". 😂 Sorry, Kerry, I couldn't resist.
Noice find!! Love it!
WOW this is in my backyard!! And I actually like it!!
Ooooh. That's a good one. Not outlandish on the price, given all that's included. Thanks Kerry. Nice work.
Glad you enjoyed it
🎉Yaaaay DISHWASHER! Bathtub?
Nice looking home!
I just wish more cities and towns on the east coast would allow these. I feel it's definitely the future.
Did they mention to you that if you get 👍 in comments it increases that count also ??
Trust me, I would never just make up random stuff. 😏
Very nice
Glad you like it!
Kerry, I like your reviews and honesty you provide. Do you know of anyone doing this in Utah?
150-200K a little steep for your average citizen but seems to be working for them.
What’s up with Boxabl these days? Did they ever decide to go to Texas with their BOXZILLA manufacturing idea?
💜🐬🚘🍀🎶
Not bad of a price for what you get.
Woooow! I absolutely LOVE it! #moremoremore
Great!
I grew up in Pittsburgh so I will eventually stop by the factory during my next visit.
Thanks!
Nice!
Thanks, Kerry!
Thanks for tuning in
Come to Kansas...
Hairy Vine is another name for Poison Ivy. Can’t imagine the connection is complimentary tho. **shrig**
Finally! East Coast is represented. I bet they factored in snow loads.
Yeah they would have to
Really NICE find and great video of it. They should thank you. Wish they would come to PNW..area! But happy for the easterners who have been bugging you for more for them. 😄 I do wonder if the climate out this way (West) is just makes more sense for these smaller homes than the hard colder winters back east and snow .
Hey, can you do an update on Nestron? I really like their homes and would love to see a dedicated tour and review.
It's a very nice trailer. Ricky and Julian would be right at home here. Bubbles and his cats, too. I think Mr. Lahey put some of these trailers in his new "luxury" trailer park in Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day. (2009) Just make sure you find a good trailer park for your new trailer. The bad ones have open sewers and frequent fires and packs of dogs running free. Good luck!
My fist job was at Dons fish and chips, but the owner was named joe. theses things happen. I bought a 10 x 16 shed, took 12 weeks to deliver. ok now I'm in, a real foundation. love the kitchen also.
Attach 2 of these on the side with the roof peak and suddenly you have a 1200sq ft home. Easy second model.
Looking for something for Florida. What about hurricane 🌀 season?
Great option! I like the square footage and layout. I would prefer French doors instead of the sliding glass door because the blowing sand where I live ruins the SGD rollers and a FD has better insulation.
Glad you like it Teresa!
A surprisingly reasonable price for a well crafted home. Personally, for my use I’d rather have the entry on the long side but this has a great look from the front.
nice
Thanks
Ok so is this hurricane safe? I live on the east coast but down south and I would love somthing like this just need to make sure it's safe.
That’s because everyone is moving to the West! 🤠 Maybe they’ll all go back to the East😊
Do you have some recommendations for san Diego? I need 2 homes.
Midwest?
I would have placed the bathroom in between the bedrooms and made it a jack & jill design. I’m not a fan of the solid wall / no windows on one side concept. Modern design is ok … it’s just ok … it’s a mobile home without wheels, oh wait … is it still considered a mobile home without the wheels?? I bet you’re just thrilled to visit Pittsburgh and tour the factory!
Great feedback! Thanks
Maine has some eco home companies as well
47 MIN ... WHATS ON THE PLATTER TODAY? THIS LOOKS SWEET! BEEN LOOKING AT JAPANESE 'BLACK HOUSES'
Oh I’ll have to check those out!
Nice home. And close by...only Ohio to contend with!
Nice!
I'd assume windows are on one side not only for the reason you detailed but also flexibility of the floor plan and design. These are modular houses after all. I'll also assume at some point if the company sticks around they'll transition to SIPS or EPS construction as well.
I would like to see what modular home companies are in Florida? There’s one close to Miami - US Steel Homes but there are not enough information about this company.
Is it available in Ilinois?
Nice to see east side covered. Curious on the pricing. Probably over 150K. :/
Ideabox is available on the East Coast, I believe. But more are certainly welcome.
What are the regulations on putting those in your land?
Where do you put the TV in that Living Room? On the wall over the bench seat?Sorry, that design doesn't quite work for me. I need my chill space with a big sofa for movie night. Some cross ventilation would be nice too.
I do like that this is an East Coast build and that it is bigger than most modular homes you've highlighted. Thanks for the option.
And nevermind any speakers or music system. I don't think the space planning makes sense beyond a seasonal second home concept...personally.
I dont know if you can. find eastern manufacturing pre fab homes modular homes cothat relocate to Ft Myers and Cape Coral (Florida) Hurricane roofing 180 mph and above. since 2 years Hurricane damaged the area. Manufacturers of contacts/ contractors.
Can this bev2 side by side and hv 2nd or 3rd floors , or built on a dug down foundation for a lower level ?
Im not sure if they’re doing custom builds yet, you could ask
Still nothing like this close to South Carolina. 😫
Can you show modular home & land deal together in Oklahoma rural areas. Thank you in search for 2bed 2bath 2car storm shelter nice zoning with land
Will see what I can find
Love this home … what’s available in Southeast of America??!
Will see if I can find anything new 😃
@@KerryTarnow thank you 💙
Are these container based (bones)
And at 4:17 that Q GETS ANSWERED by factory photos that show "all wood" ... SURE looks like a container size.
I really like the look of the house. To me, they all seem to be overpriced. This starts at 150k. Clayton homes has a location not far from me. They just received a new single wide. It has a built in porch similar to this one. It has 2 bd and 2 full baths. The interior is fully sheetrocked and very nice. The Sq ft is over 800. Can't remember exact amount. The asking price is $80k.
On any new home, I would like to see the breaker box already set up for additional power sources. I think alternative power sources will be needed in the future. They are needed Bow in places like California. If they have a rolling blackout, you could just swap over to solar, wind or generator.
👍
That is a mighty skinny house...😳
Long too 😳
It's known as the shotgun style.
@@tclearytclearyexactly. Very popular home size in many cities in the South. New Orleans has thousands of them.
I love the layout but they should have put the bathroom between the bedrooms
Good idea
Great for an older couple. No stairs and plenty of room.
🏆🏆🏆
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
It would be cool if the shed roof were appropriately angled for solar panels: site the windowless side along the south, get northern light from the windows. I do find it odd that model homes are always designed as though nobody ever watches tv -- do these folks know any real people (placing a large tv panel above the dining table would seem awkward, to me)?
Karry,
After watching many of your videos, I would never invest in a modular home because every week or so you post about something new and significant. Why make a major investment now when next week there will be something better?
Noice...
Thanks
So a TV goes where?
I’d probably put it on the wall
@@KerryTarnow Of course...but would be awkward to have it above the dining/eating space...
Do I get extra credit for short comments instead of one long one so it helps increase the comment count ?
You get KERRY-POINTS! They are exchangeable for… sorry I’ve got no idea. 😂
Yes!
Haha
There is just no way that the dimensions of the rooms you gave match the photos/renderings. The furniture depicted would be tiny as would the glass doors in the bedroom. It just doesn’t add up.
How come GREFABS (PF) are not getting way cheaper???? Wright's Law......economies of scale!!
Living solution is the control the population.and also making home for people.
Thanks for watching

Kerry, we are seniors (both 79 years old) and own our home. It sits on 4 acres. We need to have something were one son and wife can live a few hundred feet from us. Something like this would be great. Price might be a little steep for them since they still have an older home in Des Moines, Iowa. We live in Ames, Iowa. A two BD is needed. Son works from home and also writes and plays music. Putting one grandchild through school so makes it tight to pay for this house ourselves. City is very strick. It might have to be a mobile home. I have seen some that do not look like a mobile home. Please think of us bc we could use your advice in this matter. Thank you! April 25, 2024
I hear "hairy vine" which means poison ivy to me. Hopefully this unit doesn't cause a rash.
Lets hope not
I guess because of where they expect these homes to be located, they never layout the floor plan with a bedroom on each end. In only 600 square feet the hallway has to be close to 10% of the living area. Seems like a waste in such small area.
Starting at $150K? Geez
Thanks for watching
First year architect student design. Why? Wasted space from door swings. Small spaces should utilize pocket doors. This plan could accommodate pocket and barn doors to maximize useable space. Pass on this floor plan
Thanks for watching
Did I hear $150g ? That’s awesome. If the quality is there it’s by far the best value I have yet to see.
Glad you like it 🙌🏼
Photos are obviously deceiving
Sorry. Looks like a single-wide.
A perk if you wear an eye patch.
Looks nice but don’t like layouts that wastes a lot of space in hallways. Kitchens should never have corners as that is more wasted space. With only 600sq feet wasting space in hallways and corners is not a good thing.
Yeah what's up with that name 🤨
🦆
😂
