I really like the idea of using schedule 10. I don't even know where to get that at, but I've been saying for a long time why not build a turbo manifold out of something like .090" wall. At least do the side that holds the turbo in a single turbo setup and if you are going to run twins then I guess both sides. I am talking about for V8s, I know that's not what you are messing with, but the concept is the same. Have a manifold that is strong enough to hold a turbo and not crack. I once ran some headers with mufflers bolted directly to them, and after a few months it cracked the headers, my point is that I don't see how 16ga or 18ga steel or ss can hold a turbo and not crack.
Okay I am subscribed but I have a real question. When you make your jigs, do you cut a bunch of pipes up to use a mini jigs to make more pipes or do you leave your ICE blocks as the template and order more blocks? Remeasuring and rotating and fitting every time you make the header seems like a PITA.
Well the template blocks are very easy to setup. UEL manifolds are tricky as the two long runners can vary slightly so I generally double check each one to make sure it is correct. No Hackery going on 👌🏻
Great video. How do you get away with out using coolant on your Horizontal band saw? Does it hinder the life of the blade? Also curious on your push angle and cfh of your positioner welding? I have a real tough time with keeping the part shielded as it trails around.
I’ve never used coolant on my band saws, never had an issue. As for the positioner stuff just takes time in figuring out the right settings that work for you
lol ok user, if you can’t handle watching a few minutes of grinding then this trade isn’t for you….. so use your little fingers and double tap on the right side of the screen to skip ahead lol
The amount of prep and skill that goes into your manifolds is impressive! They come out great!
just remember you are a welder not a surgeon
Gorgeous work!
Amazing work. Love these start to finish fab videos. 👍👍
Ah sweet! unless I’m mistaken this appears to be the UEL setup I commissioned. The header truly is a work of art. Keep up the great great work Evan!
Nice welds dawg 😎
So good!
Id like one of those

I may be reaching out to you for one of these and a custom BorgWarner efr rotated kit.
Gorgeous!
Dude you’re a machine. How do you weld that much at once and not cook the stainless? What’s your amps?
Practice practice, just gotta find what works for you
Beautiful working brother . How much cfh are you running when on the turntable ?
Torch is about 30-35cfh and backpurge is generally around 10cfh
Where did you get those plastic mock up pieces?
Ice engine works I have the same kit , you have to cut the individual pieces on a band saw , tried using a cutoff saw and the kerf was to much
Cool
Greetings from Europe. Can I ask where I can get such plastic forms for setting up pipes?
Poliamid ?
regards
These ones are IC Engines works but I’m not sure if they offer them anymore
thanks for the answer. In my case I have to pay about $1000 for the CNC machine, how much did you pay?
Skills
Hi. Awesome work. Was the tungsten bent when you were doing tacks? How far do you overlap the weld on the tubes?
No the tungsten wasn’t bent for the tacks, I do bend them to get into deep corners where runners are stacking up

Did you work at a refinery before this gig
No, self taught and started doing this 🫡
Hi. What is the wall thickness of the pipe please?🤘
Where can I get the plastic template pipe? Thanks a bunch!
They are IC Engine works
Amigo como se llama esos codos azules donde se consiguen????
Ic engines works blocks
What welder and settings?
How much ?
Feel free to checkout the website or email me
Subaru?
That’s correct
do you really think we need to see all of the grinding...wasted a lot of time......
