- Hi friends! I'm excited to share with you so many helpful tips to control your swelling after surgery! The tips I'm sharing can be guaranteed to work if you do and take what is recommended. ALWAYS ASK YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAPING AND TAKING ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT THEY SUGGEST!
I have a clean canvas (no makeup) to demonstrate how I tape along with sharing tips on how to keep your nose clean if you are prone to blackheads and whiteheads (after surgery this is a common complaint).

Please take note that turmeric can act as a blood thinner, so avoid taking it if you still bleeding + do not take it before your procedure! You don't want thinner blood because that leads to more bleeding, bruising and swelling!

Thank you for sharing! I noticed that with just a septoplasty swelling can last a long time also and they don't tell you that. They make it seem like it's a quick 123 thing and it's not, for sooo many people. Especially the tip of the nose that can be swollen. When you think of it anything that manipulates the internal structure of the nose will cause swelling.
My 3m paper tape was not staying. I am glad you mention the cloth tape.

For how many months after rhinoplasty you need to take the Bromelein supplements? 😊

Hi! Beautiful results you achieved from your rhinoplasty. I did my surgery in Istanbul as well but with different doctor. I'm 3 weeks post op and this video was really helpful for taping and supplements. I tape my nose and keep it for a week and change my tape every week. Do you think thats ok? My dr. told me not to tape my nose at all after cast removal :( but I think I need that because control my swelling. Thanks a lot!
Hi hun! I would listen to your doctor! The arnica gel and turmeric bromelain linked in the description made me nose look tiny! I didn’t start taping until month 4 I believe!

Taping does not help with the outcome of your nose. Controlling your swelling is just for your own satisfaction. Tape or no tape, it wont make your nose more beautiful at the end.
These videos are so helpful! I was wondering if you could answer, how soon after surgery were you able to properly clean out your nose? Can you now clean it out like normal? My biggest fear is feeling congested for months.
You can blow your nose after the cast is off but just don’t squeeze down on the nose! (It can get messy but within 6 months I blew my nose normally.
This was my concern too but im using nasal wash it works wonders really helps

I don’t recall having to, besides what t he airline has you fill out while onboard. But when I went, a co v test was needed
Awwwwwwwwww I love Autumn so much I have 3 Bichons and they are my world . Also I had rhino 3 weeks ago still super swollen and hate my results and haven’t stopped crying . The Dr definitely did what he wanted and not what I wanted and my nose still looks crooked to me . Now I have to wait a full year and waste more money to get a revision 😭

Hi Hadia! i suddenly came across ur video, and would like to ask if did u have breakouts while taking the supplements? i am currently in my 2mos old post op since i had my revision and according to my surgeon with revision cases there's a lot more swelling than those with primary cases. does this still helps even if my nose is already 2mos old post op? The supplements actually help get rid of acne! Yes it will help still!! Trust me, they make a huge difference!! I still take them to control swelling

First of all, you're so beautiful. Secondly, I had my rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago, I was advised to tape for 3 months. I have MASSIVE swelling, even during the cast removal, it was very very swollen. My side profile looks very straight (never had a hump to begin with) but I wanted some curve to it, but I don't see any curves so far, it's super straight, did your curve get defined by time??
Thank you! The def start taping but I recommend the supplements because they are so going to help! And use the tape I recommend because it won’t be a pain in the arsss to remove!

Anyone had alarplasty weeks after a rhinoplasty/lip lift? Is what I plan on doing. I just had my surgery 8 days ago and came here for taping and swelling tips. I am going to Florida in 5 weeks! Didn't think about it bit hopefully I can baby my nose until then. Another video said don't fly or go somewhere hot like Florida welp I'm goin
So you did or did not continue to use arnicare and did you post the bruise cream you mentioned?
Yes check the link. And yes I used the gel for 6 months straight and every other day for 2 years. I still use it if I notice swelling some days (not much) but it helps bring the swelling down

Hi hun! If it’s your first time I would wait until after because I got fillers (I habe a video on it) you may swell as much as I did which was HORRIBLE!! If your body reacts badly, you may have swelling for weeks and the rhinoplasty will make it worse! If you have had fillers before and you don’t react badly, then totally get it but that doesn’t mean you won’t react this time! I would honestly wait! My lips were so swollen after rhinoplasty

How many weeks did you apply the nose shape tape, my Doctor said 3 months for 24 hours, its seems a little extreme, he also recommended Hyperbaric oxygen treatment fot the columella scaring, Did you you do any oxygen treatment for scaring?
Hi there. Dr. Resit said said I could to control swelling but it wasn’t necessary if I had an event. The end results would be the same though.
I didn’t get any treatments, the scar is 95% gone but I applied vitamin e on it for a few months nightly. I also controlled my swelling via the supplements/gel which til this day makes a difference when I take them and apply the gel.
Did you use the anrica cream on your nose?
On the tip when it was bandaged up and afterwards when the cast was removed for the first 6 months religiously

Hi! I know this is an old video but I am looking to decrease this swelling of my 4 day post-op Rhinoplasty and wanted to get both of the Bromelain supplements you recommend here. Since they BOTH contain Bromelain but one has Turmeric do you still take both at the same time supplements or just the one with Turmeric?
Hi! I take both. I add extra bromelain to it because it is ok to. Too much turmeric can thin the blood so for healing that isn’t good!

And also just realizing I should wait until a week post-op to start adding the turmeric one in, love how that one helps digestion! I took 2-4 times what was recommended to control the major swelling!
Hey I wanted to ask that I found bromelain tablets 1700 mg so if the mg is high is it better ?

I’ve heard that using bromelain for too long, like still taking them months after surgery, can actually worsen the healing period. Have you heard of such things?
Hello! I haven’t but I also don’t over do it by taking more than the recommended dose! But always do your own research. You could always skip a few days in between :) I wasn’t consistent after month 4!

Both tape links are for the tape you don’t want touching your skin? The tape you use that actually touches your skin? When you held it up there was no label just a half used roll of tape? What’s the brand of that tape?

Hi I love your videos thank you. I am 17 days post op. I had a bent nose it still is abit towards left side.. 👀 I use a nose retainer and tape it in addition to massaging. I dunoo wat to do. My one nostril sticks out n other is flat. Stressed I hv been taping the nostril flat the 1 which isn't flat...
Hi hun, who did you go to? My nose isn’t perfect and also still deviates to the right but the doctor told me it would still slightly after the 1st surgery and that it would take another surgery to get it completely straight but I love my nose and won’t be touching it again! Also, swelling on one side could happen so I would suggest controlling the swelling with the supplements I recommended in my swelling video because they help tremendously
@@HadiaJenn I went to Dr mehmet emre dinc in sisli istanbul. I take bromelain tablets a day around 1000mg. I use a retainer every night he said that will keep the deviation straight and also nostrils symmetrical. I massage the nose and like push it slightly as per docs instructions to the left. I then tape towards left. So sick of sitting infront of mirror and staring at my scray self amo. Nose is swollen so bad look like pennelope lmao

I didn’t have to tape for the final healing but taping helped bring out the definition for a short amount of time. I taped for a few months but no longer do so!

You’re welcome! I took them during the day and night at the beginning. 1 bromelain + 1 turmeric bromelain mix - if you just got the turmeric one, I was taking 2 of those if I skipped the white bottle. The directions are always best to follow on the bottle!
Does a revision case always has more swelling than when it's a primary rhinoplasty?
Because of pregnancy my nose swallowing can I use this after c Section it will work or not?
I would ask your doctor! If so, yes I am guessing it would work for your swelling. Turmeric is known to thin out blood so please make sure you consult your doctor.

@Raz Tube by putting the tape on the side and pulling up when doing so it lifts the tip. Followed my doctors way of taping.
