The #1 Question was how much did I pay and during the time I went my package was:

My flight was $1200 + visa fee, food, tips, etc my total was a little over $9,500

The plastic surgeon I almost went to in the USA charged $2,000 (my cost after insurance) for just the breathing issues (septoplasty) and the cosmetic portion he quoted me $7,000 + anesthesia fees, facility fees and the doctors fee so it would have been just about the same - in total it would have been $9,000 + fees - but I truly believe I would not have gotten a better result here in the states vs going to Dr. Resit. He’s so talented and knows what he’s doing. He has a lot of experience with thick skin and that’s the type of surgeon I needed✨

I cannot believe how amazing you look after only SEVEN WEEKS, open rhino AND thick skin ?!?! I am 4 months post op and happier than I was but praying that what I have now is not my end result😢 I too had bulbous tip and it’s definitely an improvement but still not refined. I’m so afraid that what I have will be my end result. I wish I found you before I had mine done!

Thanks for the feedback 😊 You know what, I think I went through with it because of how desperate I was to fix my breathing and the appearance. I just trusted what the universe was telling me. I didn’t have a good feeling from any of the doctors that I saw in the states but his work won me over and also seeing a few of the other girls RUclips reviews (niharaa and Antonia Higham). That made me feel confident enough to take a chance with him and do it! I also saw his negative reviews and the bump issue. I researched it and controlling the swelling and doing the massages they tell you to do after your second cast removal can prevent this! Also don’t workout for at least 2-3 months to avoid issues due to throbbing, swelling - this can really interfere with the healing process

Yes definitely convert money. You can ask your doctor if they’ll accept USD for payment. If not you can request Liras from your bank
Hey, I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about Dr. Resit and I’m really worried. People are saying he didn’t listen to them and just did whatever he wanted. Did you feel like he listened to what you wanted. And did the tip drop after a bit? Ps. thank you so much for this video, it was so helpful❤️
Hi Miriam, yes I feel that he listened to me but also others have to keep in mind that he has to work with what the patient has. He can’t give us exactly someone else’s nose if we don’t have the similar structure to work with, if that makes sense!
The tip does droop, absolutely! Gravity will take place and make that happen over time. I hope mine stays High but it’s highly unlikely to!

Doctors in the USA are bad example for doctors they do so little and they charge so much. and you have to keep going back and forth and still get lousy results
I don't like doctors in usa even after completing 8 years of learning they lack the skills and act as if they're still juniors.
Hadia I'm in turkey 🇹🇷 as we text. Question I had my surgery 2 days ago. Is it normal not to be able to breathe thru your nose and for how long?
It could happen due to swelling but please reach out to them and see what they say!
@@HadiaJenn it's to be expected. Cast comes off on the 30th. It is getting a little better every day. Just dry throat and mouth is a bit irritating

Hi! Loved your results! Why did you use two casts and for how long each?
Thank you! The first cast is taped down differently to ensure it doesn’t move. Then they remove that one and cleanse your nose. Then a metal one is placed on your nose for another 10 to ensure correct healing and protection!
also did you struggle with identity crisis after your cast removal? I think this is what I'm most scared of!!

You’re welcome hun! A week of medicine and then topical ointments. Breathing was only an issue for a few days!
Great video !!My surgery with Dr.Resit burk Kayan is in August . Do you know if there certain things that I would have to stop doing a month before like talking certain vitamins or drinking ?
Hi hun, thank you! A few things that I read were to two weeks prior stop taking any blood thinners to avoid extra bleeding, stop exercising three days before so there’s no extra inflammation, caffeine should be avoided the day of surgery and four days after, reduce your salt intake a week before and the week after but I am doing this still currently! If you’re taking any medication that’s a prescription send the name and mg to his assistant and she’ll ask the doctor on what to do prior to surgery! Hadia, is it better to go to an ENT (Ear, nose, throat) Specialist in Turkey or a Plastic Surgeon? I'm between Ali Evlice and Reisit. I'm medium - thin skin. First rhinoplasty and no real breathing issues etc. Any advice? I know you have researched loads. Thanks for your vids girl.
Hi hun! I honestly wanted to go to a plastic surgeon because I wanted a pretty nose verses go to an ent but end up with a not so nice cosmetic result! When I had 2 consultations with other plastic surgeons in the states, they both said fixing the breathing is something they do with rhinoplasty anyways. And I also brought this up to Maria to ask him and he said he absolutely could fix the breathing issues and he has done it for others more times in surgery than not. If he only did a few rhinoplasty surgeries I would have worried but because he has done plenty, I fully trusted him with the breathing!
I saw a quite a few bad reviews online about this doctor which really scared me as I initially really wanted to book with him. A couple girls I messaged say that they developed a bump on the nose even though they loved it right after surgery. Also they said when they tried to contact the doctor about it he didn’t seem to care. One even told me his assistent blocked her on what’s app. But then there‘s also many great reviews. I feel very conflicted about it. What would you recommend? Did negative reviews scare you?
I was going to go to this Dr but his assistant Maria was sending me a lot of red flags. I’m going to Dr Yildirim in turkey, look him up he is a ear, nose and throat Dr and has more experience than Resit.

Hello! So yes, I saw those reviews. I’ve done a fair share of research regarding the bumps. A few things can make that happen: a lot of swelling and when they shave down the bone it can cause irritation to the inside wall of the nose and these two things can result in a callous type of bump. And it’s a possibility no matter which doctor you go to due to how our bodies react to the bone removal. If it’s due to swelling, it will subside on its own after a few months or you can get a steroid shot from a doctor near you. If it’s due to a callous formation, you can schedule a visit with a plastic surgeon and they shave down the bump without sedating you. But I cannot stress enough how important it is to control swelling! Icing, cleaning like they advise and THE MASSAGING, it can prevent the bumps! I take bromelain daily night and day, arnica gel day and night, I sleep elevated and I don’t do anything that could raise my blood pressure and cause throbbing (working out, lifting heavy stuff, etc) . I say go with your gut! There are always risks no matter who we choose. Take your time to research the other doctors and choose whichever one you feel good about 😊

That’s exciting! So the nurse isn’t one of his nurses. It’s something the hotel accommodates you with.
There’s a side of turkey bordering Europe and so a lot of people have European accounts in turkey.

Thank you! Havent had botox yet! I sleep plenty, don’t drink alcohol, and don’t smoke anything! I think that helps with anti-aging. Also sunscreen in the summer!

Hi, Im confused you mention you had an option to choose your package, but from whom? Is it the doctor who offers a hotel package with the rhinoplasty or are you talking about a website such as orbitz or expedia? If you are booking on a website for flights how do you know which hotel to book thats near the doctors office?

I spent over 9k total on everything! It’s not cheap if you go with dr. Resit, compared to other surgeons there but I’m my opinion it was worth every penny!!

Hi! When you land in Turkey, do they make you take the covid test where they swab your nose?
At the hospital they do! If it’s positive they won’t operate on you.
Your paperwork and prior test results will do at the airport, though.

It’s a bit uncomfortable but not too bad! It’s actually ticklish and also you will get a test the nurse will come to the hotel the day before you fly out to perform a swab and she doesn’t stick it in your nose it’ll be in your mouth

Hi hun, no he doesn’t. There’s a 1k euro deposit at the time of booking which you can send via transferwise (if they still allow to that way) and the rest is to be paid the morning of surgery.

No one. I just explained what I wanted corrected and tweaked - I wanted my nose to look more on the natural side and to still fit my face

did any of the negative reviews on this doctor scare you? did they address any of them to you at any point?
I spoke to a few people and only 1 with a bad review. I think her issue was due to her own body healing. She also admitted to working out ASA a week after which in my opinion is a mistake because elevating your blood like that can cause more swelling in areas that are in the healing phase. But in my opinion she was looking for a perfect outcome and wasn’t happy that she didn’t get one. I didn’t either because we both had deviated septum’s. Deviated septum’s take 2 surgeries for a perfectly straight nose.

So much lol 😆 he took the bridge down, removed some of the droop, added grafts to hold up the tip and keep my airways open. He also removed some cartilage to make a smaller nose and use as grafts.

I don’t get paid anything from Dr. Resit or anyone else. I’ve even had a company from turkey try to recruit me but I denied. Just sharing my experience to help others and having fun doing this for a hobby!

Hi Derriek! Ask your bank or you can go to the exchange booth at the istanbul airport and they will exchange it for your. Just be aware there’s a fee. If you are arriving the morning before and you have time, you can also go to a local bank. It will cheaper than the kiosk at the istanbul airport

Hey sorry to bother you but idk who else to ask so I sent the money on transfer wise a month ago (1200) and they never got it and are investigating did this happen to you? I think I did mess up with the title I put the Ati clinic and not the doctor but the addresss and bank info still matched it’s been a month and all they say is I’ll let you know when the banker gets back to me …. It’s been a month and nothing also it says sent on my end on transfer wise I can’t get my money back either ugh

They say it takes 3 weeks after surgery to be able to do that. But I waited 6-7 weeks to avoid his nose knocking mine to the side lol!
7k in Istanbul. lol. You can pay that in AMERICA where you are protected !
Yes you can but there aren’t a lot of doctors who have experience with thick skin and are able to give you results like they do in Istanbul. For the cosmetic portion I was turned away by 3 doctors in the States.
And no one should be sending deposits to a foreign country that they might not get back if something happens!! Especially not for months in advanced. I think thats certainly risky!! LA and NY aren't the only places for rhinoplasty. The US doctors would have given you the same results for that price.
