I got this case awhile back and I have to say it is nice except...when you need to get to one of the hard drives it is a pain. I have not found a better case yet, but I would recommend a case that is hot swappable. Just makes life easer. I also have 4 10TB WD Reds that have a lot of vibration. I am a little worried about that considering there is no way to mitigate with this case as things are packed tight.
I currently have a mix of sata SSD and HDDs. I plan to get an hba card. I’d also like to clean up the power cabling. At the end of the day I’ll have a total of 10 sata disks. I’d like to get some sort of braided sata power cable to work with my Corsair RM750e. Do you have any suggestions?
RSV-R4000U is the model I have amzn.to/48Iiz3f I would recommend if you have the budget to step up to the RSV-L4500U amzn.to/46q4sOA for more hard drive bays
Literally looking to move my Fractal Design Unraid server into this same case... Except I'm going to be upgrading to an EPYC chip.
Great job!

Could I put like icy dock’s hotswapable bays in the front of this case by any chance seems like it has bay holders but can’t tell?
looking at specs the icy dock is bigger than the drive bays in the case, so no they will not fit the case without extensive modifications
There is a 12 drive version with hot swap.

cable mod is where I would look, they can make braded cables for your power supply and also have just cable extensions as well
Do you have an affiliate link for the 4u chassis? And a model #? Is it the RSV-L4500U?

@@CreatorHardware I do believe I’m going with the L4500U. I went the minimal route before and regretted it. Thanks for the info!
Why does this guy look like the flat rate tech?
