    Rule Exceptions:
    1. Develop In The Center
Some ultramodern openings don’t require controlling the center, such as King’s Indian / Modern Defense.
    2. Don’t move the same piece twice.
If it is a hanging piece, this rule is ignorable, such as From’s Gambit / Ross Gambit…
    3. Don’t go too crazy with woman.
You can target major pieces with it. Also okay if opponent can’T win tempo.
    4. Castle your king
You don’t need to if your king is already safe. Such as in Collab System / London System your king is safe enough.
    5. Don’t move F pawn.
Okay after you already castled, since it is protected by a rook.
Also King’s Gambit is an exception, but Bird’s Opening is bad.

"Don't use the fried liver, scholar's mate, etc".
While I agree on Scholar's Mate, Fried Liver can lead to some strong lines even if the attack itself fails because the initial opening that leads to the Fried Liver, the Italian, is solid enough on its own.

You can push the F pawn to f4/f5 even if you castled king side. You would need your king on h1 or h8 to avoid checks on the diagonals.

Before the comment section get flooded, let's talk about The Cow (Anna Cramling opening)
    1. You don't control the center
    2. You move the Knights 4 times in the opening
    3. You develop your pieces too passively
    4. Can be easily countered with the h-pawn (or a-pawn)
    Your thoughts and opinions?

im no 2000 but id rather say be careful moving the f-pawn than not moving it, since there are also advantages of moving it like the rook being already in the game when castling kingside or moving the queen to e1 then using that diagonal to attack on the kingside

    i suck in the endgames

    • @Q420-m9c
      @Q420-m9c 4 месяца назад

If you're willing to improve in the endgame, I suggest you learn the course "basic endgame principles" like how to utilize pawns, how to move your pieces, how to win down material, how to utilize the king etc. The Endgame is basically the time where you really need to be careful and precise with your moves in order to win by promotion or trying to checkmate the enemy King with fewer pieces in the board, if you already learned the basic endgame principles then you move further by making a plan to win the middle game since the middle game is basically the part where you play out all your best moves, the better your position after the middle game, the smoother and easier it is for you to try and win the endgame, also always look for ways to breakthrough especially if both you and your opponents are already running out of progress, all you need is to utilize your position and find a way to promote your pawns since that's what the endgame is all about anyways, if you happen to be struggling, I suggest you to watch High level gameplays or top players because they play endgames like machines, after that you can study some of those games and think why those moves were great so you can find tricks and techniques that will help you achieve a better position. Lastly make sure that you actually know which of your pieces are the most useful in endgames, if you have the bishop pair then good for you, you'll have an easier time promoting pawns compared to the knight pair which is good but due to their lack of mobility in empty squares there's a possibility that they can't catch up, also study basic rook endgames as well if you're equal in material, there's a way to win as long as you play your moves correctly. That's all that I can really show since these are very useful for a lot of players and to summarize, you need to learn basic endgame principles, learn endgame techniques and know the correct moves because in the endgame you can't recover easily once you make a mistake or worse you won't be able to recover at all after one mistake because in endgames it's very hard to make an advantage once your enemy has the lead so always be careful with your moves, bonus tip, learn how to evaluate as well, evaluate certain exchanges and know when to trade, count the possibilities of possible checks, skewers, forks etc.
