Strong post contact scorer like his dad. Nice foot work. I'll say this kid would make a good 2 grade 6man. Would like to see him on the defensive end before I say he's got star potential. How's his play making. Can he spot up and shoot.
Kiyan is not Carmelo and that's ok. No comparisons needed, Kiyan is finding his way and should be celebrated for the work put in thus far. At the end of the day, most pro players get it out the slum to save their lives. Pro players children fight a completely different battle
@@jmgonzales7701 If Kiyan has nothing else, he has a jump shot. I don't know that he has the handle to get by more athletic guards, yet he is young. He will need more size if he doesn't have the handle or else he will be a JJ Reddick type of player in the League.
His skills definitely look refined, but he'll have to change his game in college and NBA. He's going to need to learn to be a role player and more of a passer than his dad
@@tacottogetherness7604 Care to elaborate? You think he's going to have the green light to be a volume shooter in Syracuse next season and then in the NBA? I think it's pretty clear that he needs to develop his catch and shoot skills, playmaking and defence if he wants big minutes as a Freshman
so he can score, but can he make his teammates better? Can he be a playmaker? Without being an elite athlete, he needs to really improve on those things to reach the next level. Horrible comparison to Steph, PG, and Klay. PG and Klay were two of the best man defender at their prime. Kiyan doesn't have that profile. He also doesn't project to be a Steph type shooter. Does he have a shot at the top level? It's possible, but lets not pretend he has superstar written all over him.
@@Sparkyxicy Where is the hate? Being realistic is not hate. Putting unjust pressure on a kid is much more detrimental than being real. I bet his pops has told him of all the things he needs to work on in order to go to the highest level. This vid makes him out to be the next big thing by comparing him to those guys. Look at a guy like Emoni Bates. He is struggling to find his place in the league right now. I don't think anyone would argue Kiyan is better than Bates in high school.
He’s coming big time 🔥💪🏾🔥💯
I sincerely hope he is 😭😭 he’s so fun to watch
Him and Alijah Arenas could be the best NBA sons
Boozer twins as well
Don't sleep on Ariza's son.

All the hate is unnecessary, his father played the game at the highest level. Do you think he's unprepared?
Wrong
Wrong he passes
