He just played against the Olympic team as part of the select team. He was put on the practice team to push the nba all star Olympic team in practice, as a 17 year old who hasn’t played so much as one college games. And from all accounts of the scouts, coaches, and players who attended these workouts. He dominated and stole the show. He was the talk of the Olympic basketball team camp. This kid is for real.

lol he didn't dominate anything. made some nice plays but didn't "dominate". Also they always put a high schooler on the USA team not a big deal. I'm not sold on the hype yet he's not some freak athlete. Looks like a dollar store brand of Jayson Tatum.

I played against Lenny Cooke in a hs summer league and expected him to have a ridiculous amount of success. Never would've expected what actually happened to him. He was hitting threes from 5 feet beyond the arc, windmilling and 360 dunking in game. And then nothing. Sometimes a boatload of talent only goes so far if an athlete can't get their sh*t together off court. I hope Cooper keeps his ego in check, good people in his circle and stays humble

It remains to be seen whether or not he can play in the professional leagues, plenty of people who were generational talents in college ball didn't dominate at the same level in the NBA. Christian Laettner was the one college player on the Dream Team and he was an All-Star just once with no championships, which is good, but its not necessarily what you'd expect if college success translated to professional success. JJ Redick had a very good college career and a very unremarkable NBA career, same with Doug McDermott, Frank Kaminsky etc.

He's absolutely got the skills, talent and attitude, but let's be blunt here. A lot of the hype Cooper Flagg is getting is because he's the best white American prospect since probably Larry Bird. His hype is definitely bigger than Kevin Love's was, and Love has had a tremendous career in high school, college and the NBA. As a basketball fan, I'm excited to watch this guy. He will definitely bring in a certain type of new basketball fan, and, personally, I'm eager to meet and welcome them.

You gonna tell a kid at 17 that he can’t be a doctor because he types with two fingers or are you gonna teach him how to type? Maybe you should get a job coaching but make sure you get some training first. Being a human comes first! Being a professional is secondary! He’s handle isn’t that good and he can’t really shoot of the dribble and he also can’t really creator his own shot at all but hopefully that changes

    Tom Chambers?
Is this isn't even a slight.
Tom Chambers was a bucket and used to put up nearly 30PPG in The League.
Let's see what he does at DOOK.
    I am a UNC alum.

Defense on his luck and attitude.

    So is Bagley.
    And Barrett.
But all come back down especially Bagley

Uhhh there's no one from Maine actually, I'm from Maine, Duncan Robinson is from New Hampshire. He may have been born in Southern Maine but he lived in New Hampshire and played all of his basketball there or elsewhere so he's about as much from Maine as Caron Butler's crazy story moving to Maine for high school, like he was there but not long.
