I don't get why that song is rather unknown, yet you guys would focken rock it.
I love it how they're like ACTUALLY, IT'S A SONG BY SR-71 at the end. A lot of people don't take the time to acknowledge it, so mad props. Mitch from SR-71 gave BfS the go-ahead and they changed a few lyrics, then it became a hit. F211 always impress.
Took way too much scrolling for me to find this comment. I thought I was going to have to comment the same. SR-71 is still the version in my playlists, not the BFS version. Glad to hear they acknowledge, as I am still listening as I write.
@@syrax65 There's something snotty and sarcastic about the original, while the BfS version seems geared more towards laid back nostalgists. SR-71 seemed to have a sincere disgust about the way people wouldn't move on from the past, while BfS were performing a catchy song. The differences are bigger than a lot of people notice, and I wish the original version had been the hit it could have been. It's so good.
i've replayed it many times and i think he says "ACTUALLY it's fuckin by SR71"
If there's anything else that I love other than listening to their music, is looking at Audra's expressions and moves.
I really like that you guys put your own spin on this song. I think this is my favorite cover! It's different from the original, and while BFS made the song nostalgic, this is almost like nostalgia became monster and you're confronting it. Dark, but also still SO GOOD! This is my new on-repeat song. And the newest addition to my workout playlist 🤣

I can't help but love how at 1:40 She's just vibing in the front, giving off haunting, sad, and dark tones. Then there's this guy right next to here going off at like a 140% energy. I know it shouldn't be as funny as it, but it's just so good.
PLEASE do more major-to-minor covers! This one was phenomenal, did so much for the song. I bet you could find a few dozen others it would be awesome for, and it sounds like a lot of us would be here for that. Thanks for your music!

It's a shame SR-71 didn't have their career take off, because they really were putting out some of the best pop punk from the era. Only Right Now became a hit of any kind, and I'll never understand why.

This was a really cool twist on the song. I think this arrangement compliments your voice a lot better, and the, more involved guitar (not familiar with music terminology) makes you look at the lyrics a lot more differently than before.
This was totally not what I was expecting when I clicked on this video. I'm pleasantly surprised!! I like that it has more of a major tone to it. Makes it hit a lot harder. I love it!!
