For some reason when I use clipping, it doesn't select the hair or the character at all. If I have text somewhere on it, it will just select the text. Nothing on the character. Is there something im doing wrong?

You actually don’t need to use the magic wand, if you look down to where the filters for the layers are, you’ll see next to alpha-lock there is something called clipping. If you put a layer above the solid hair color layer, you can press this button and it will only show up on the solid color layer.
Marking places i need 2:54 to see the layers 3:02: make a 2nd layer and put add instead of normal. Pen fade and brush size 3.6 Go to multiply layer and do the same hair shading 4:54 8:02 2nd multiply outline
There’s actually a more simple way 1. Get the mane shades dark up top and bottom the light middle 2. Go to smudge scroll to u find “hair” 3. Watch the add 4. Swish up down up down up down.... 5. I recommend size 27! :3
