if you listen to this guy playying in his videos he always does the same kind of playing wich doesn´t showcase the potential of some guitars he´s playing ! nice guitar but i prefer my gibsons , i have some very good ones and are the guitars i play more from the ones i have in my collection, i especially like my two gibsons 58 `s and my three 59´s , this guy needs to rock it up and put more distortion on some of the guitars that he showcases, cheers all the best for pewople who love guitars and music in general
this guy is a jazz guitarist and he buys and sells vintage guitars...I think he only prefers jazz music that's why he doesn't really rock out these guitars on all his demo videos...just saying and peace, brother.
a guitar that's good on the clean, usually will be good on distortion. and with vintage instruments, it's the dynamics and harmonics we particularly listen for, which isn't always possible to hear on hi-gain.
Rocco Astoria : I have a black custom Gibson les paul 1977. extra good shape. Always taken care of. played through an old 60's or 70's Marshall twin 50 watt combo; tube amp .( never did look it up ) Sounded like pure cream or thunder depending on how much you cranked it up........ Until the ( X- wife ) kicked it over... face first.. on the floor in mid solo. I still have the guitar and amp.
really? to me they all have a diffrent sound charakter and of course the feeling is diffrent. Ok you are right you don't need an expensive guitar to sound good but it helps.
No my friend. If you use a good amp and you start with an custom Les Paul and after that you take a studio LP, you think that you play one of the cheapest guitars in the world. They don't sound same.
Superb guitar! One of my favorite looks for a Les Paul, black with golden hardware and those multi-ply bindings.
Holy smoke what a gorgeous tone, and superb playing.
Amazing tone, feel and space in your playing....wow nice.
I’ve always got a certain amount of reverence for how a guitar like this can sound when used with tenderness and finesse like you have, Greg.
Like videos when you are playing your own personal guitars. You really get more into it.
Damn , I got the chills at some point ...
Great playing and a beautiful guitar !
the jazz partern at the end is really cool !
beautiful guitar and great playing!
Beautiful sound!!! Wow!!!
Master of the tone!

Would you recommend removing the bright cap for the vibrato channel on the fender deluxe reverb? Great tones as usual!

Lovely sounding pedals. Couldn't really hear the Les Paul on my rubbish IPad

Black beauty 1969

Sweet paying, as usual!

why is it a 68 ? According to the serial it is a 69 ? I have the same one, so maybe you know more.
sounds awesome, but 2006 Gibson Les Paul GT you've showed while ago was a little better in my opinion
It's hard for me to don't imagine Emmanuelle when the loop start at 1:13.

what pick ups are in it?
Probably original late 60s t-tops, they're really chimey aren't they? I think i prefer them to PAF's
omg...
That guitar is probably $7000-$15000. It IS expensive.

Same year as Mick Ronson's les paul.
