My favorite memory of Seabrook was in the playoff series against Detroit, the Hawks were losing and were about to go down 3-0, (3-1?) And Toews had just got his second penalty in a couple minutes.
He was visibly upset to a level that I had never seen him before, and Seabrook skated over, patted him on the shoulder and said a few words to him, and this appeared to calm Toews down markedly.
Long story short, he came back focused and proceeded to lead the comeback, The Hawks won the game, the series and the cup.
Enough said.
