  • If your hamstrings are very tight when moving into a body prep position... you may want to investigate lowering the foot setting.
    The proper foot setting doesn't have to do entirely with the size of your feet... more commonly, it has to do with your mobility and range of motion. Can you establish a proper body hinge when pivoting through the body?
    Before you take a single stroke, find the right foot setting for you.

    Oops, I've been killing my mobility lately based solely on foot length. Great tip. I'll fix this immediately.

    Great tip! I found this setup accidentally a couple of years ago by myself. Completely changed my rowing enjoyment. I am not very flexible and this is a game changer.

    Here’s one for you I’ve been using a c2 erg for decades . My left leg is slightly longer than my right … what’s your advice?

    Set the feet before you take a stroke. Love it.
