you are das far the best instructor I have encountered online. I been trying to learn Uke for about 2 years now and your explanations are the best. I picked this song so fast is not even funny!!!!! thanks
Holy moly I never thought to switch to using my pinky for D chords. But this really helped me out!! I’m learning a version of this song using A, E, F#m and D but I’m kinda cheating on the E chord by sliding the same three fingers used for D up to fret 4. Using my pinky also frees up my first finger for the other chord transitions. You are a genius. Thank you so much!
AllforUke, I'm totally with you until you start singing. Once you start singing the first verse, I can hear and extra strum in there. I think it's after the DD and before the UDU. Am I totally crazy? I've listened to this so many times, and I always hear it. But I don't hear it once you hit the chorus...
Me too!!! And for the life of me I can’t sing it as ddudu like the instrumental intro.. as soon as I start singing I change to ddu-udu. I’m not sure what is happening here....
Looking forward to seeing how your strum pattern for this compares to the one I did on this ruclips.net/video/Bho2POCaWfk/видео.html a couple of days ago.
Great uke singalong. Thanks Kevin

Wonderful Tutorial 👍
Great tip on verses vs chorus dynamics. Really like that! (Your ukulele sounds great.)

im having trouble transitioning from D to E.. any suggestions?
really well made video, thanks!
I love this song. Check out the Nathan Carter version, I think that's the one I like the most
love your tutorials, but whish you'd space out the strumming arrows to match the timing

Would that strum DDUDU work for Miranda Lambert's "Bluebird" song?
Checked it out and I don’t think so. Different rhythm. Sounds like a DD strum in the verse.
@@AllForUke Thanks!
Ok
