I did this yesterday and I have both fallopian tubes blocked and pointing upwards. The doctor suggested a laparoscopy, but I feel so bad
Don't feel so bad. Try your best to get the best treatment. On laparoscopy any abdominal pathology will be diagnosed that might have causes blockage if present. Even in case of no identifiable cause assisted reproductive techniques can be used to achieve conception.
What if they cannot locate my cervix or even after that the tube would not pass through the cervix. My gynae tried almost 5 times to insert catheter and then on the 5th time it worked
You got a genuine complain dear. Yes, its happens in many cases that cervical os is difficult to locate especially in case of nuliparous patients and in those with Anteverted Uterus.
But with experienced hands usually there is no problem. Different techniques are used to locate it like pv examination initially to locate it , appropriate use of speculum and use of tenaculum can solve the problem to great extent.
@@AAUN satisfactory reply❤
