Video Written and Recorded by Alberto Halfeld
A theme park with dinosaurs. An underground fighting club for office workers. A man whose entire life is a reality TV Show.
This is the power of a good concept. The power to make your audience say: “Why didn’t I think of that?” and immediately buy a ticket to watch your movie. While well-established writers can get by solely relying on their name to sell their next story, an amateur writer’s secret weapon for recognition is their concept. A good concept costs nothing and can open so many doors. A good concept demands immediate attention.
THE GOAL: Take in all user feedback to write the story as close to your vision as possible.

Hey Tyler, can you please check your dm on Instagram. I made a few queries regarding storytelling. I think you're gonna find 'em useful. Useful enough to make videos on 'em 😉. Hope you'll take a look ✌️

The transition to "Top Development" is actually very helpful to everybody since I imagine Tyler is very busy with his course and other projects. I think this is why Tyler has brought to the channel more people to create content that otherwise wouldn't be there because Tyler probably doesn't have a lot of time. So I believe that this way we get much more useful content to learn from!
So far the new videos have been done by Alberto Halfeld who seems to be an expert writer, as much as I have found!

That scene from EEAAO is some of the best Top representation I’ve ever seen, which we need way more of in Hollywood. Glad to see it here on this channel, bro🔝

Hmm... I guess that this method could also apply for philosophical conflict in the micro level, uh? make two lists, one of each belief, and pair them in an understandable and sensible way of progression that your character follows all the way to the end of the story.

No offense to the new writer/narrators, but I miss Tyler doing his own videos. These kinda feel like imitations of him, but haven't been as insightful as his older videos. As time goes on, hopefully the new hosts are allowed to let their own style and personality show through a bit more. And get the audio quality sorted out!
Also, I feel like that last example from the Truman Show was oversimplified (more than the usual screenwriting video). That is quite a stretch to imply that you could come up with that scene by combining "making a run for it" with "hired extras" and plugging it into the story circle. Just saying, be careful with reverse engineering screenplays. I'll keep watching the channel though!

Hi, I have a question about the Practical Screenwriting Course. Does the course close when January 31 begins or at the end of the day? I’m asking bc I have the money needed to buy it but on effective. And only tomorrow I’ll be able to deposit the money and buy the course online. I’ve been working hard to get this money bc I really want to improve my screenwriting skills and scripts. In case the course closes at the beginning of tomorrow, do you think that you could make an exception? Please? Thanks for reading.

Interestingly this isn't limited to movies.
Kimetsu no Yaiba (spoiler for the overarching story and ending)
    1. philosophical conflict:
Immortality thru legacy vs Immortality thru transhumanism
    2. List:
Inherited techniques, skills learned from others, improved equipment, fatigue/sickness | abilities from augmentation, self learned skills, enhanced body, weakness against the sun/special metal
    3. Combine:
Battles in KnY always pit slayers vs demons highlighting the slayers' learned techniques and usage of their unique metal sword, environment, or props such as bombs, demons fight back almost exclusively using their enhanced body parts or demon blood arts
    .
    SPOILER STARTS HERE
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
The Akaza vs Rengoku battle pit together a peak human vs a peak demon, Rengoku dies because of human limitations, Akaza had to retreat because of his demon limitations of dying from sunlight
the core immortality argument is externalized as Kagaya's death rousing the entire slayer corps to kill muzan in a decisive battle.
Muzan saw that his legacy lived on as each and every one of the slayer corps, so by the ending when Muzan is at death's door, he concedes and accepts legacy as true immortality… and to show this, he turns Tanjiro into a sun-proof demon before he dies as his legacy.
