I had mine repaired about 5 years ago by Yaesu. This is such a wide known problem it should have been fixed for free.
I just bought an aftermarket board because Yaesu said they no longer have the parts. That's for my 857D. My 897 has one stripe now.

Do you do this repair on kenwoods? For example the TMV7a.
It looks like you have a line at the top of the display that isn't being used. Just bump up the display a line.... if only..... Good video !!
Do you also work on Icom IC-706 MkIIg? No display issues, I think it’s finals. Down on TX power… And if so how do I contact you?
