It would have been painful had the bonus been lighted up on the bottom where she didn't get the small prize... but thankfully it wasn't the case and it was at the second window for a win.
The Price Is Right seems to be a haven for celebrities. Here we have Kojak in the audience-Mel Blanc once appeared on here, and before she became a letter turner, Vanna White was on the show.
@@slentbob3208 the Adam Sandler connected with TPIR is not the same as the famous comedian/actor, though - unless you're referring to the appearance of Bob in the "Happy Gilmore" movie.
Many of the contestants nowaways with Drew Carey seem to be overweight, dress rather scruffy looking, and their hair tends to look more like a mess. I do not know why we cannot get nice-looking contestants now as we did in the past.
That's because there was very little processed food being consumed back then, and unlike today's children, who are being raised and fed primarily on fast food, the kids of the 1970s and 80s enjoyed mostly home cooking, with McDonald's and Burger King only in moderation or as a treat.
I was watching a contestant play the Bonus Game on a 1973 episode last night (10 years prior to the airing of this one), and just like in this clip, the contestant missed the price at the bottom, but still won.❤

Watching TPIR is far more Entertaining with Bob Barker, than with Drew Carey ...
Bob will Be Missed, yet NEVER Forgotten
Even over 40 years later, id rather watch these 80s shows. They're classics
Still fun to watch Bob barker than Drew Carrey.
Without a doubt. I can't sit through a whole hour of shows today like I could back then

Good game
Glad it wasn't on the bottom.

Plus Aaron Paul before he became famous. He actually played a pricing game on stage and went to the Showcases. Adam Sandler too.

@taronjeroneharris1313 There are many reasons why we're fat. That's part of the reason, yes. But not the only reason.
