@@donderjongI’ve been listening to a lot of live Queen recordings and Deacon’s P bass is surprisingly farty when it is heard alone, but then it’s perfect when the others are playing too. I think the SFT at low drive levels nails that.
I think the SFT can easily fit in as a great bass overdrive pedal. The Stoner setting is pretty much unusable if you ask me but I do like the Stones setting.
They both sound great, I think the BDDI gets it because of the versatility but I’d be happy to have either on my board!
Thanks for the comment! Maybe I used it wrong but the SFT was a bit too farty. Much prefer it on guitar.

It's been a while but yeah, it sounds pretty farty which is a cool sound in a mix, not really my thing on its own.
How about another go with the stoner switch engaged?
Maybe I should while I still have it. Just couldn't get a sound out of it that I liked with it engaged.
