These full races are like a really good snack. Never gonna stop wanting more.
Finger lickin good
It's so nice to start a race and watch it run all the way till the end. No stages, no gimmicks, just good hard racing. The race itself is the story, and it's a great story full of wonderful characters. I sure do miss NASCAR!
What about the great credit one one to go white flag bullshit
Amen
These old races make the offseason much more enjoyable. :D
Theres an off season? This is the best thing nascar has done in the past 20 years uploading these races. I dont even watch nascar racing today. Its gone down hill.
It's so weird watching this race knowing that they've swapped the ends of the race track.
you can tell by the red building going into one (now turn three)
RIP Junior Johnson
Now these are races I can sit n watch.
Keep 'em coming NASCAR!
So good to see that #3 in action again. Notice the Crowd. Notice NO 'stages'? RIP Dale, Junior, David, Allan, Bobby, and all the other great drivers we miss.
Gord Baker RIP NASCAR
Cars are off the ground no splitter
He we go again.
People trying to start shit.
Ironic that Junior Johnsons car is racing against Juniors old number
These races are what's getting me through the offseason, Thank You Nascar! The older the races, the better. We want more!
Absolutely pumped know what I’m watching this weekend keep them coming love the old races
I hope Nascar keeps adding more and more old races. They look great.
Bill's last win until going through that long 226-race dry spell and that six year span as a car owner that had no wins to show for it. Bill Elliott wouldn't win another race until 2001.
Thanks for showing this great race RIP JUNIOR
And in addition to this being the final victory for Junior Johnson's team and Bill Elliott's last win until 2001, based on the comments on Racing Reference's page for this race, this would be the last time a Budweiser-sponsored car went to Victory Lane until 2000
WE NEED TO GET BACK TO THIS NASCAR!
Could not help from liking Bill Elliott he was just one of those good down to earth drivers
Thanks NASCAR for another fantastic full race replay.
I remember alot of this race from when I was a kid! Who couldn't forget Jimmy Spencer leaning up against the wall near the finish line after crashing out?
Hard to believe this was the last time we would see Awesome Bill in victory lane for seven years.
Watching in UK in my truck.
@LUCKYDUCKY 62 yip, with a 45ft double decker trailer attached to it.
Please post more of these classic races. They’re great!
Not only was this Junior Johnson's last win as a car owner, it was Bill Elliott's last win until Homestead-Miami in Nov. 2001. As of June 2023, the 226 race winless streak is the longest in NASCAR history
Watched this live as an 18 year old almost 44
Rest in Peace Junior Johnson
Man did Geoff Bodine win a lot of poles back then!
Good ol’ Bill Elliott. The father of Chase Elliott
The REAL NASCAR! Today it's nothing!
Great quality video!
I was there that day. Grand opening of Joe Weatherly museum.
Gordon turning Brett after Brett had put him in the wall, INTENTIONAL OR NOT, made me so damn happy 😄
It was intentional.
I started watching in 2002. In at the first caution; My gosh!! The cars sound soooo good! It seriously looks like there's NO dirty air? How is that possible
Michael DeGeorge cars had less downforce were higher off the ground and tires weren’t as good today.
I remember hearing this on MRN radio.
Back when Racin was Racin, Elliot most popular, often wondered how that always happened and now it's his son who got the last vote for 2019, how does that work...lol
Mark had ‘‘em covered dang it
Need to stop cutting out the ESPN Speedworld intro, but otherwise it's great.
thanks
7:47 jeff definitely turned him
I miss that old covered grandstand off turn 4 (now turn 2).
Watched Lake Speed win his first and only race from under that grandstand in 1988.
6:59 don't fuck with Wonder boy.
When did windshield tearoffs start?
Bill Elliott was offered the 28 car but he wanted to be a driver owner and that never worked in NASCAR.
Alan Kulwicki beat Elliott for the 92 championship as an owner/driver. Darrell Waltrip and Rudd also had some solid success as an owner/driver. However, it was not sustainable by the late 90s for anyone....
Last Bill win until 2001 at Homestead
The one race a year or so Jerry Punch was in the booth, and you can tell Bob was missed.
and Marty Reid randomly being a pit reporter
The track since has gone through two more repaves. Would get a new fresh coat of asphalt for 1995 & again in 2008.
I wonder what the next network will be in 2024.. I hope espn comes back.
Bons tempos
That dog would hunt even at 260 degrees...that car came to life after Mark Martin blew up.
Where was Bob Jenkins for this race?
He had a back injury and was out of the broadcast booth until Atlanta at the end of the season.
Brett Bodine was an dbag in 94
Would you say he was the Kyle Busch of his time?
@@vidmasterK1 No, kyle wins races. In 94 Brett would dump other drivers when they passed him when he was running toward the front. He had a chip on his shoulder that year.
D'bag every year.
@@MrJoe1129uscg Couldn't handle the Rainbow outrunning him
For someone who race on this track in heat 3 this track sucks to race on
Where was Bob Jenkins this race?
At home with a herniated disc
Raise hell praise dale
I lost 13-1 on fifa to Couper Draper, he is a god and everyone should love him
Wow, I'm sorry bro😔
the bud car sure looked good that day , what a shame that time brewer could not count laps in the atlanta race 1992 finale or junior would have had 7 championships, and changed the final 2 yrs of Bills tenure with Junior, it all went downhill after that race and lead to junior selling it all at the end of 95- brewer
👍
This was Junior Johnson and Bill Elliott's Richard Petty 1983 Charlotte 500 moment (Miller 500 I believe). Bill Elliott all of a sudden started turning it on at the end out of no where. Junior Johnson knew his days were over and Elliott knew his days were over with Junior. Why not "cheat" your way to a win at the Southern 500. More than likely all of Junior Johnson's wins in 1994, the other two being with Jimmy Spencer at Daytona and Talladega, were the result of cheating. Yet, Nascar turned its head the other way where it was Junior Johnson.
How’d they cheat ?
@@TJ89741 illegal intake manifolds...
What happened to that team?
Jack Islanders 80 81 82 83 basically junior Johnson was too old for that shit
Paul-François Boss
But I mean in 1992 they were 10 points of a title and after 4 years they were gone
Jack Islanders 80 81 82 83 oh by that then idk probably some poor management from junior
Nascar fined him in february at daytona in 95 for illegal manifold to the sum of $45,000, and he basically said the hell with nascar, that they we're starting to constrict things you could invent or innovate on a race car. So he didn't wanna go down that road, and sold his team to his driver Brett Bodine after the 95 season.
theWoodrow321
So sad to see because they’re like top 10 in team wins all time
Gen 3 was the best
Hi
I’m So Glad I Live In Darlington :|
What about the other two races you have made private in your playlist?
Stay Tuned. Those are set to go live in the coming weeks.
What about the historic races in 4K playlist ruclips.net/p/PLtc57NTUizP5wPg46cosK3fohTKmykFHh ?
@@NASCAR thanks again these are awesome. Are yall gonna be able to post any old arca, trucks or busch races?
@@NASCAR Really hoping one of those are the 2005 Daytona 500 in HD.
Best part. No Toyota’s!
2007 Daytona 500 plzzzz

jeff Gordon wrecking people...summary of his career.
And how many Championships did he win?
@@Boomer-cf2br Not enough. Not even the best driver on his team
?
Who dislikes this
Chase Elliott will win at Darlington just like his dad one day.
Hope not.
Why the hell do you ruin the winner in the title? I mean sure it was a race run in 1994, but if I made it this far and didn't know, it would have been a nice race to watch and not know.
@@aaronkristofer18 So this isn't actually the car that won, dare I ask?
@@aaronkristofer18 It's Bill Elliott in this picture I'm almost positive. So that's what I was asking, if Bill was the winner of this race.
Who's Harry Crumb?
I was at this race
