The Maldives is a destination that so many of us dream about, but so few are able to achieve. Known for both being the closest thing to paradise on Earth and having some of the most expensive prices you have ever seen.
For the average person, visiting The Maldives is either a once-in-a-lifetime trip or is outright impossible. However, those willing to play the game of travel rewards are able to stay here at costs that are attainable for most.
The key to our success is choosing the right hotels and flights to book using points.

This is one of the best Maldives planning video I’ve watched so far. Thanks for all the ideas and an overview of cost. Definitely worth saving up points and cash and put this in the bucket list.
Thanks for the info + video!
This is fantastically filled with good knowledge, thank you.
Thanks for the video
Thank you so much! I really appreciate any feedback and if you have any topics you want to see a video on please let me know!
Keep doing PowerPoints! You're really good at it!
My biggest gripe with the Maldives is that it’s hard to price everything out exactly
The temperature would hold this one back. Though there are some other awesome places that would aspire to travel in the winter (or maybe another season too depending on the latitude / weather)!
It depends on season but when we went the weather was perfect!
I never really ever felt too hot or cold, just perfect
The points prices are for the base room right? Is there a way to get a overwater villa through status?
If you're spending all this money I am always curious how you are making it all right after being in school taking on debt from student loans
Are there differences for bora bora
While Bora Bora is a similar type of destination, the advice for there is definitely pretty different.
You have a significantly lower selection of hotels which makes it harder to get a great deal on points. Best hotel to buy points for would be the Conrad but availability can be tricky.
Since the hotels in Bora Bora are a lot closer, you can easily hotel hop no problem.
Also flights are only about 7-8 hours from the west coast of the US so it’s a lot easier to get to!
Such a great video! Keep ‘em coming!
