Dead Apostle Noel was like a rabid dog that had to be put down - a crazed and bloodthirsty menace, but only partially responsible for her own actions, plus somewhat sympathy-inducing due to her all-too-human weakness.
Kudos to Nasu for one of their better examples of character writing!!
Out of all of the fights in Near Side, this one felt like the best addition to Ciel’s character, and provided the most satisfying death to a character in a LONG LONG TIME.
Noel deserved this. She was insane, and it wasn’t her fault, but she still made her own choices, and became something ugly and messed up.
Really, Ciel route may just be Nasu’s best work, if it wasn’t for UBW.
To me, Noel totally carried the whole Ciel route.
...now I want Noel to have an exclusive route.

sacchin was part of the original already and she's a far side character (apparently, since her route will be released alongside the missing ones)

@@marshmelio I always thought she was supposed to be the third character of the near side part, because the far side had 3 routes and the near side only 2. I also thought that because she become a vampire in her route and the near side has mostly vampire stories when the far side is more about Shiki dysfonctional household.

@@crash-testproductions9341 I agree, but her route is confirmed to come with the far side remake, so I guess she is a far side character now
Also (Mild tsukihime remake spoilers ahead), in the OG tsukihime Satsuki became a vampire in all routes, but apparently Satsuki doesn't become one in Ciel's route in the remake, and there's also Araku who seems to be related very strongly to vampires and is a character related to the Tohno Household, so I guess there is now a way to shoehorn vampires into the far side
