I have been collecting parts to build a rat jeep. I have tub and drivetrain ,need to build a chassis and pick up a few things like windshield frame and tailgate.. This video inspired me to be more focused and get it built.. Thanks
I know it's a long shot for sure but I'm also in the process of building a jeep rod. Was hoping to get in touch for ideas, pointers and do's and donts for the build. I have a 55 cj. Thanks.
It was very simple. I “Z’ed” it. Front section was 4’. Middle section was as long as I needed to rear the rear axle and give room for 4 link and axle. Then come up and over the axle. It’s 2x4 square tubing. And rails are 33” apart. It would vary depending on the size of vehicle.
Plenty of other Jeeps saved though. I’ve saved many Jeeps myself. I’m a big Jeep enthusiast. This one was pulled out of the weeds and missing the drive train and floors were rusted. I at least did something with it rather than it sitting rusting away in someone’s yard.
Just watched this video all the way through for the second time. Double the pleasure
New subscribers. Awesome ride
Amazing piece of art
Thank you!

Glad to hear. It was the most fun project I’ve ever built. Hope you have fun doing yours as well.
This puts a smile on my face. Totally brilliant.
Really cool 💯
👌💯 I learn a lot from your video Keep up the good job 👏
Awesome build man..
Thanks man. I love offroading and jeeps and rat rods. So I built the best of both. Lol
Super nice! I just finished a 64 CJ5 with a 350. Too much engine for off road so this rat rod idea is great. Nice editing on the vid as well.
Mark Roth thanks! It’s a blast to drive. Hopefully be posting more videos and actually progress on builds eventually. Trying to work towards that.
This is inspiring

Yeah. Look me up on Facebook. (Kody Street). And shoot me a message.
Very cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👍
the only thing I would do different would be to put those big wide semi tires on the back to give that hot rod look!
Finding those in a 6 lug wheel is pretty hard. I like the 4 skinny’s though.
Somebody's nightmare!
Awesome but can it move under its own power or is it a towable art pice. Very cool
I daily drive it every day it’s nice and above 50°.
Ficou perfeito 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Can you give the exact sizes of chassis frame and complete details please

bad ass!
Thanks!
Where did you buy your hairpin bars?
I built them myself. Used 1.5” DOM
Looks awesome, how thick was the metal on the frame
3/16" in the middle and 1/8" for the rest. Also welded body to frame.
If I anyone would try to make this car street legal in Europe he would be sent to concentration camp and Greta would make an angry speech about him :)
Lmao that’s hilarious. I’d do it anyway.
Great another jeep ruined dang. Cool build though
