I can't figure out how to post a picture of it, but i have a black 1981 prototype Minnesota North Stars jersey that sadly wasn't worn by the team in any games. They would have beat a lot of other teams to the black jersey trend, and would've been a cool alternate 3rd...
So Charles O' Finley owned the California Golden Seals in the early 70s, created white skates, Sparky the seal mascot, and the Kelly green and gold uniform. Gold at home, Green on the road. Uniform looked much better than the team played on the ice. Oakland in 71,72,73,74,75, wasn't a hotbed for Hockey. But aat least the uniform was good looking.
worked at the Met Center for 7 years and watched alot of North Star hockey...Actually have a North Star Tat ! I like the Wild but would LOVE to still have the Stars !!

I'm a new Sharks fan and personally that old logo needs to be burned, I literally cannot see the appeal in it, it looks like a child drew it. That Islanders logo is incredible.
I waffle back and forth between simple logos and complex logos, but here the color combo and that little star somehow do it for me. Which one is your favorite?

I'm a huge Screaming Eagle buff. I think the logo and the jerseys are some of the best in league.
We miss the North Stars in Minnesota. We love our Wild but the North Stars jerseys were Goated
