That Chiefs logo will never change. At least as long as the franchise is owned by the Hunt family. They refuse to even add a new alternate uniform, much less change the current unis in any significant way. As a Chiefs fan I love our team design and I'm glad it's not going to change, but a cool new alternate would be fun to wear every once in awhile.
The Jets logo is the worst, most insulting logo in the NFL. Every other logo is quick, neat, and you can tell who it belongs to without the team needing to spell it out for you. Personally I wouldn’t rank a logo high just because it’s iconic. The Commanders logo is better than the Packers and Browns, but since it didn’t come out in 1890 it’s considered “boring”.
I definitely can see that take! The only thing is that I actually think the Commander logo is awful, as it literally is just a "W". Even if it were made in the 50s people would have trouble with it.
Commanders logo is awful, a corporate font W is not a sports teams logo, it could literally be a bank or something and you wouldn’t think twice. It in absolutely no way tells you it’s Washington Commanders. You knew exactly who the redskins were from their logo, has to be one of the biggest downgrades of all time.
@@user-em1ig7xo9d I agree the Redskins logo was amazing, but that’s not the issue we’re talking about. If the Redskins never existed and they came out with the Commanders brand originally, nobody would question the W logo. But he did rank GB and NYG rather low, so what's the issue? Also I push back on Washington clearly being better. That's your opinion, but I think it's terrible and way worse than the Browns.
@@josephgedgaudas2892 my argument is that the ranking isn’t necessarily based off just design, but rather history. Take the football aspect away and the rankings would drastically change.
As a graphic artist, I can really appreciate this video. Even though I’m not an avid fan, I too have always loved the Seahawks logo, ever since it came into the NFL in ‘ 76. And I’m not a Broncos fan either, but I do love horses so naturally, I tend to think it’s my favorite. Interestingly, Denver would win their first two Super Bowls immediately after the change in logo, after years of losing the SB multiple times. No wonder the revision looks so fierce 😆. I love the Lions revised logo as well. Hopefully they’ll still be wearing that when they finally win the Super Bowl.
My favorite teams are the Patriots, as I used to live in Massachusetts and recently moved to Rhode Island, and the Ravens because my uncle has been a die hard fan for a while now. Also, my favorite color is purple, and the logo does it justice. The raven also looks extremely fierce and menacing, so it’s definitely my favorite logo just because of that.
Detroit's logo is the best in the NFL. Sure they've paid one hell of a price for that long time distinction but hey technically you can actually call the Detroit Lions perpetual champs of the NFL in something. Disturbing but true!
I prefer the Dolphins with the helmet, too. But I disagree with the rest here abt the Browns. It's simple and iconic. We don't do flash, we're AFC North.
One thing i never understand about the Names of NFL teams as an European is that why do you have team names that have nothing to do with the City? Like Bengals, why Bengals or Jaguars or Panthers, or Vikings what have those cities to do with the City, if a team in Norway would be called Vikings it would make sense, but Minesota!!!? In Europe 90% of the times if a team has a name (Most of them are the names of the cities) it has to do something with the city.
There are generally two ways to go on the team nickname. You can go with a locality-oriented name like the Patriots, 49ers or Steelers. Or you can go with an intimidating adversary like the Lions, Bears or Jaguars. Some like the Eagles, Buccaneers or Cowboys have a little of both. I think the Vikings are called that because Minnesota is a cold, northern place by US standards and at one time had a lot of Scandinavian immigrants. Then there are a few teams like the Cardinals and Colts that moved from another city but kept the name despite it being a weaker matchup of name to location
Redskins forever. This coming from a Raiders fan. #2 on my list no doubt. I would be steaming if i was a washington fan and still wear that logo proudly 😡
They should can this whole knee jerk PC reaction and bring back the Redskins name and logo. It was one of the best. Certainly indigenous peoples of North America have legtimate concerns about their place in society but this name for a football team really is not one of them. If that senseless murder of George Floyd had never occured by that bastard cop (and the other jackass cops watching), these special interest groups would never have been successful getting the name change. IMO they exploited the tsunami wave of momentum for a cause that will do nothing to help their overall position. Same thing happened with the Guardians (former "Indians") in baseball and even the CFL (Edmonton changing their name from Eskimoes to Elks). This is the crappier side of PC when it goes too far.
one of the best logo rankings of the NFL I seen. I agree I hate the overly clean/simplistic logos, I think we're seeing a movement away from those designs and back into more interesting logos so we should see tons of teams make switches soon. falcons and revens logos r my fav
Really? Huh. I'm a Niners fan, and I kinda think the same thing about the Packers. While I don't love a green/yellow color combo in general, imo nothing screams "NFL!" like Green Bay's whole aesthetic.
Buccaneers is a top 10 logo. Can't stand so many letter logos, and it strikes the perfect balance between the pirate and football themes. The colors pop and it's very clean. Consequently, the Bucs have a top 5 helmet imo as well. The logo pops on the pewter helmet.
Great video, stuff loke this is always personal preference, but i appreciate your rationale, well stated. Id put Atlanta #1, such a great logo. And Browns #32. Or maybe just rank the 31 NFL teams that actually have a logo! 😂
From a bills fan I love your honesty. I love my bills logo as well, but it pains me to say this! The New England patriots vintage logo takes the icing on the cake as being the best logo and uniforms of all time. It was tough because those Houston oilers uniforms and helmet is just breathtaking along with Seattle and Denver’s classic uniforms, but those patriots uniforms of the past are just one step above every other. They are just sick and if I was a fan ohh you bet that I’d be wearing nothing but vintage Nike pats sideline gear and jerseys as well.
Glad you enjoyed and I'm glad you love the Pat the Patriot logo as much as I do! I know it'll never happen, but I'd love to see them somehow make that their primary logo again. It won't happen, but here's to hoping haha
Saints. The fleur-de-lis is everywhere in New Orleans in homage to the city's mostly French and Catholic heritage, and the team name alludes to both the Saint Louis Cathedral named for King Louis IX, and the city's Catholic heritage in contrast to its reputation for sinfulness. The Saints/fleur-de-lis combination is simple, clever, and perfect.
As an eagles fan i am happy we ranked 3rd. I agree with almost everything except your nr.1, because i dont like the red stripe at all and the rams logo, that I really love. Thank you for all your effort.🎉
Fun fact ..one of the recent eagles logos with the eagle holding a football with wings spread was taken directly from the German WW2 luftwaffe logo seen on the side of paratroopers helmets.
I know the Rams wanted to shoehorn "LA" into their branding, but man, their logo and uniforms are painfully bad. How do you ruin a classic horn helmet? The awful gradients, ugly patches, and "bone" pants which don't match at all. A complete failure. Their old 60s look with just blue and white should be their next move. It was so clean.
You should mention the Colts are called the Colts because they were the Baltimore Colts. Baltimore, The Preakness, race horses. If they had formed in Indy we would have the Indianapolis Milk Cows. Logo could be an old school milk bottle
At 18:38 ..this is the only case where the new logo is better...the original one had a buffalo just standing there...doing nothing...this one is charging!
Does anyone realize on the Texans logo, there is a leg? There used to be a place near Houston called Gilleys (see Urban Cowboy). The leg is allegedly representing a dancing leg of a woman. Allegedly, supposedly.
Cleveland doesn't have a logo. Just some Brown color to remember their original founder/coach (Paul Brown) who ultimately was unceremoniously fired and then left to help found the Cincinnati Bengals. Cleveland should name the team after something else
Do NHL next! Maybe also a retro NFL logo ranking? (any logo not in use, even logos you featured). Also that Lions logo has been used since 2009, the old ones before that had the same shape, but had zero detail.

@@josephgedgaudas2892 my argument is that the ranking isn’t necessarily based off just design, but rather history. Take the football aspect away and the rankings would drastically change.
I'm glad my Eagles made the top 3. I really like the logo but didn't know how people outside the fanbase felt.
People outside the fanbase agree that it's an awesome logo!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! And you seem to have great taste!
My top 5 favorite teams are 5. The raiders 4. The Falcons 3. The Bills 2. The Eagles 1. The Saints
Great top 5!
Saints are the best
My favorite teams are the Patriots, as I used to live in Massachusetts and recently moved to Rhode Island, and the Ravens because my uncle has been a die hard fan for a while now. Also, my favorite color is purple, and the logo does it justice. The raven also looks extremely fierce and menacing, so it’s definitely my favorite logo just because of that.
That's awesome! I'm a Patriots fan rooting for the Ravens to win it all this season so we're in the same boat!
The Bills, Browns, Patriots, Chargers, Dolphins 🐬, and Lions logos are excellent. 😀👍🏈
Bro stop the Browns is literally a helmet
I respect your opinion but personally I hate the Browns logo it's a boring orange helmet
The bear looks like it just got a jumpscare
As an Eagles fan, I'm flattered that our logo ranked in your top three. 😁👍
I'm glad you enjoyed that placement!
Thats dope that you got soo many comments but u still heart and respond to them 🙏
Of course bro I love discussing with the community!
As a falcons fan, I'm glad you put our logo as high as you did.
Glad you enjoyed!
I love my Seahawks logo
As a bills I'ma say this one
GO BILLS...
AND THE HAWKS CAUSE MY GIRL IS A HAWKS FAN AND HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE
You guys have an awesome logo! Great looking and filled with history!
Very well thought out video. I respect your opinion and appreciate the time you put in to this video. Cheers!
I’m biased but Raiders logo had to make the top 10 at least
As a Commanders fan, I agree. It sucks. I wish they would change the name and make the Gibbs-era R logo the primary logo.
Agreed!
Except the R stood for the team name, Redskins. You really think they want to reopen *THAT* wound?
@@Jarock316 it doesn't need to be redskins again. It can be redwolves, redtails, etc
We need mlb logos ranked
Added to my to-do list!
I agree my bengals 90s logo was much cooler then our current one
True! Hopefully a new logo is in the works!
Thank you for commenting it before me lol, I like both logos but I wish we used the tiger a little more
Cincinnati's curvy striped helmets of the 80s were the best for me regarding that team.
one of the best logo rankings of the NFL I seen. I agree I hate the overly clean/simplistic logos, I think we're seeing a movement away from those designs and back into more interesting logos so we should see tons of teams make switches soon. falcons and revens logos r my fav
I'm glad you agree with this video! Thanks!
The 49ers are the perfect aesthetic team, logo and uniform, and this is coming from a Packers fan.
Really? Huh. I'm a Niners fan, and I kinda think the same thing about the Packers. While I don't love a green/yellow color combo in general, imo nothing screams "NFL!" like Green Bay's whole aesthetic.
I love this video and your channel
Thanks bro! I love you!!!
FINALLY… the Broncos come out ahead of the Raiders, Chiefs and Chargers… (there’s always next year…)
Buccaneers is a top 10 logo.
Haha that's fair! Glad you enjoyed bro!

Thanks for the information! I've always seen the fluer-de-lis heavily featured throughout New Orleans but never knew the exact reason, so thank you!
Falcons come up JUST short. Where have I heard that before?
Hmm I wonder where haha
As a Eagles fan yes the Falcons logo was cool but the Logo of the eagles is what caught my eye as a kid and ive been a fan since ill take #3 lol
Haha
As a bears fan we take this W
Haha glad you like the placement!
Glad I'm not the only one who prefers the older version of the Buc's flag. The less detailed skull on that flag feels more authentic to Jolly Rodgers.
Completely agreed!
As an eagles fan i am happy we ranked 3rd.
I agree with almost everything except your nr.1, because i dont like the red stripe at all and the rams logo, that I really love. Thank you for all your effort.🎉
I appreciate you! Thanks for watching!
Fun fact ..one of the recent eagles logos with the eagle holding a football with wings spread was taken directly from the German WW2 luftwaffe logo seen on the side of paratroopers helmets.
Just searched it up and wow! I can't believe they utilized those luftwaffe logos haha
was not expecting the cowboys to be at number 9 because of how simple our logo is but it’s nice seeing it in top ten
Glad you enjoy that spot!
The dolphins logo belongs higher!!!
The bone coloring 🤢
As a Saints fan, I thank you
Of course, you guys have a great logo!
You should mention the Colts are called the Colts because they were the Baltimore Colts. Baltimore, The Preakness, race horses. If they had formed in Indy we would have the Indianapolis Milk Cows. Logo could be an old school milk bottle
Indy 500, maybe Indianapolis racers
Very interesting, thanks for the info!
Or the Indy 500s! 500 Milk Cows? Nah. Can't compromise here!
At 18:38 ..this is the only case where the new logo is better...the original one had a buffalo just standing there...doing nothing...this one is charging!
Completely agree! A marginal improvement from the last Bills logo (Although I like that logo as well overall)
Added to my lists, thanks!
NY Islanders forever #1 for the NHL!! (not including that pathetic Captain Highliner they used for a short time about 30 years ago!)
You need to be drug tested after this list
Packers at 26 is a travesty. Below the Titans ?? It’s one of the best logos in sports. Iconic.
Take a shot every time he says logo
Challenge: impossible
Edit: logo now means nothing
I disagree about the Cowboys logo being the most popular in sports. The NY Yankees logo is seen a lot more then " America's" lose..._sorry, team.
That's fair, it's definitely neck and neck between these two
@@HeapsYTI think as a RedSox fan you just don’t wanna admit it’s clearly the Yankees
Me personally i think the dolphins logo is way better than the cowboys(just my opinion)
As a browns fan, when you said “obviously at #32” I was surprised I didn’t see our helmet 😭
Haha I actually really like the helmet, gets way too much hate imo
I am also Patriots fan
Dude, you forgot to mention that the Tennessee Titans color scheme is actually the same color scheme that they used when they were the Houston Oilers. It has nothing to do with the state of Tennessee.
I think it's a combination!
If you know anything about birds you’ll know that the Raven is actually more like a grackle, a dirty scavenger.
As a Bears fan, I actually like the C logo better than the bear logo.
