it's nice but the mxing sounds a bit too shallow IMO - there should be more reverb and bass to it to truly reflect how huge it is. if you hear this without visuals you'd never guess it was the voice of a monster

8:25 you can ride her to the next destination if you hop on just before she takes off. You can go back to open the chest after using a port crystal if you left it there.
I skimmed thru and all I got was “you can ride her.. chest”.

The Sphinx is always such a highlight in my playthroughs. A brilliantly designed character, from the looks, through animations, to the perfect voice over. When she leans in to scrutinise you, it gives me such a feeling of apprehension that I actually got it wrong, even if I'm 100% certain I am giving the right answer.
Her design, her voice, her cadence, it’s all perfect. Every time she speaks it’s absolute.
God I love everything about this sphinx

Absolutely incredible performance. I can think of no way to improve it.

If she made animalistic vocalizations when she stares at you tilting her head it would raise the tension in such a perfect way. She's already creepy af (although her unfocused stare is a bit goofy) and that would just make her even greater
Her stare isn't unfocused, her pupils are dilating and contracting like cats do before the pounce. She's sizing you up before she strikes.
@@420mralucard oh no, sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean it unfocused as in the pupils, but the overall direction of her eyes. Normally when staring something close the eyes will point inwards a bit, hers are completely parallel to each other, as if she's staring further from the player.
Did you know ancient india has a lot of these hybrid types of creatures? One of them that comes to mind is called the Gajasimha, which is a cross between a lion and an elephant, with wings. Another hybrid would be a cross between a cow and a woman, where the head’s a woman and the body remains a cow

Pretty neat. Know nothing about the game other than a handful of clips I’ve watched and it being on my wishlist when it’s finally discounted. Would’ve been nice to see a different type of headcock or reaction stance from her as she waits to process the answer from the mpc.

*Defeat her, not kill her and it’s 100% optional. She ascends into her light form congratulating you after being defeated. You get some pretty exclusive rewards for it including the Unmaking Arrow and Eternal Wakestone.

The original dub is japanese so the mouth animations are made for japanese language.
