Adapting a series like Naruto into a movie sucks and won’t work as they would have half a decent chance to do it well if they did episodes around 12 a season then they can get a much better outcome like they did with one piece. Doing it as a movie just signals dragon ball evolution copy and paste. Way too much material to cram into one movie even if they just doing one arc from the Manga.

Best case it will become like one piece where its an extreme rush job cramed in 8 episodes. Worst case modern audience myth on top of that. Remember yu yu hakusho? The plot of season 3 was used by the season 2 antagonist done in season 1 setting.

Not a naruto fan but if i were, why on earth do i want a live adaptation when the anime is already the perfect version? Best case it will become like one piece where its an extreme rush job cramed in 8 episodes. Worst case modern audience myth on top of that. Remember yu yu hakusho? The plot of season 3 was used by the season 2 antagonist done in season 1 setting.
