Everyone is talking about the wolf bones but nobody is talking about how the third pig is fully willing to let his brothers get eaten alive just to help prove a point about his craftsmanship skills.
To be fair, if they’re mocking the brick and bone house then inviting them would’t work. They’d say their houses are just fine and you can’t just kidnap them to keep them safe. He knows there’s no way to save people who dont want to be saved.
Turns out the big bad wolf is on a journey of revenge against the third pig for turning his family into his house and attack the other two pig by mistake
@@anondabomb there are a series of Chinese shorts about turning small apartment (basically rat cages) to compact living space ( basically rat barracks)
I recommend the Dimension 20 season of Neverafter if you're looking for more inspiration! The setting is a grimdark version of the stories of Mother Goose, including a section about the last little pig that very much mimics this short! Warning: it does involve a lot of descriptions of body horror and some rather gruesome details surrounding the much darker theme, but it is such amazing storytelling. It has even inspired me to want to do a horror campaign as well!
You should read Christina Henry’s books. They are mainly dark twisted fairytales and she has an amazing writing style and is one of my favourite authors. Alice is my favourite, but I love literally all of them
If you were to end up writing it, I have an idea that I think could add to it (although you don’t have to). The reason why the third little pig went insane is because they’re stuck in a time loop and he’s the only one aware of it, so he’s seen his brothers get murdered so many times he just decides to build the wolf bone house and wait for what happens. Just my idea, but I thought it could go so well with it
Okay, but straw is a historic building materiel with a lot of benefits. It’s cheap and widely available in many areas with arable land which would’ve been the main areas anyone could really build and feed a decent sized population. You cut it at the base and lay it in piles. Cut or beat the heads which is where the seed or berry that you were cultivating would be so you now have the food utility of it done. You take a couple strands, twist them together and tie up bushels of the remaining straw. Dry it out so it won’t rot easily. You can then wet it again if you need it playable for any reason. You tie together a little stick frame, lay or tie the bushels around it and smear the walls with mud. Preferably peat or good clay which will also fight rot. It drys to a very sturdy construction and looks very nice once you smooth it properly. Top it with a well maintained thatch roof and you’ve got an Irish cottage. Digging a pit bellow a wooden floor and filling it with fresh straw for the winter fodder for the animals not only insulates from any deep ground frost in colder climates, it also reacts like those steaming mulch piles and an exothermic reaction actually heats your floors and your whole house. It will smell though. Unless you can make shutters for your windows and good seals for your doors, that smell won’t be a huge issue as air will be exchanged like regular ventilation.
The third pig be like "i be loving the company but sadly they can never stay "cough" (alive) "cough" for long, but hey! At least i have a new bathroom"....
This little piggy made a straw house for insulation! This little piggy made a stick house for sturdiness! And this little piggy... got a bone house and a machete with the wolf's name on it.
I feel like the third pig has two older other younger brothers who the wolf killed and these are new younger younger brothers. And he is determined to not lose the new two if he has to kill all the wolves in the vicinity.
The third little pig be entering his villain arc
He was born with an intense desire for violence
Entering!? Mf he's been there long enough to wipe out the wolf population and leave the last orphan on a quest for vengeance.
I’m always two steps ahead..

it was at this moment the other two knew, they had three choices.
The 4th little pig made his house out of wolf skulls. They aren't very sturdy, but they send a message.
First thing that popped into my brain too!
I can't remember where it's from though. SMBC? Or am I getting my comics mixed up
That’s…that’s just the same joke again though
@rowbeans-l1n I was quoting the meme where Danny likely got the joke from. I can't remember the name of the comic though.

My most favorite comment on this short. Where did you get this info? Like is this a special interest? /genuine question
Thank you for this. As my dad would say, "respect your resources by knowing how to make the most of them."
It's just that one page comic:
"The secret 4th pig built its house in bones. The house is not very stable, but sends a very strong message."
“Oh wood, nice! A little flammable though, don’t you think?” Says the one with a straw house. They’re *both* flammable.
naw the third pig got a dark ass past 💀
He has seen too many of his brothers fall to the wolf
Not the most stable material, but it sends a message.
I mean, if one were to use screws, or design it in a self-locking system (like a lot of old buildings in Asia), then it can last a long while.
The All For One theme in the background has me with all kinds of chills on top of the video 😭
I was looking for this comment
for some reason i thought it was a theme from medka box
I KNEW I RECOGNIZED IT -- A year since I've watched MHA, but I still know it 😤😤
I was trying to figure out what that was from 😂 it sounded so familiar
Can Danny please become a voice actor??? His range is incredible.
Wait, he isn't yet? 😂
OH MY GOD YOU'RE RIGHT!
I love the idea of slowly building my house up out of the bones of things I eat, like ribs, I doubt chicken bones would work unless filled with epoxe.
That is a terrible idea
"What did you build your house out of?"
"Wolf bones."
"That... doesn't seem very sanitary."
"No, but it sends one HELL of a message."
If I were one of the pigs, I'd feed my 2 bros and run away like hell
"Brother, may I have some oats?"
"He knew that it wasn't the sturdiest of the three houses, but this wasn't about sturdiness, it was about sending a message"
Roses are red
Cacti are prickly
Holy crap
That escalated quickly 😅
That, is the hottest plot twist I've ever seen.
