When I worked in finance, I stayed at the Savoy and loved it! It's one of my fondest memories of visiting London. It's like it's very upscale, but comfortable without feeling pretentious, the very meaning of hospitality, everything just right. I don't blame you for wanting to revel in the moment of it.
