Please do an update with prices! This was 2 years ago before groceries went up! I feel like $100 for 5 dozen treats would not profit much after buying all the materials!
I was thinking the same thing! I saw a video on FB where the girl did 3 dz each of chocolate covered strawberries, pretzel rods, Oreos, & Rice Krispie treats for $400 and someone told her that was too low. Then I come here and all of this is priced way lower lol. Not that anything is wrong with that, I’m just tryna get a better understanding of what’s more lucrative but still affordable.
Thank you! Cakesicle video will be finished tonight and hopefully I’ll have it up tomorrow afternoon! 😊 and I can definitely do a video on the fondant roses as well!
Me encanto tu trabajo y a mi tampoco me gusta tanto hacer los cake pops (customers want to get them cheap but they are a lot of work) Muy bien explicado!! Y gracias por compartir tus links
When you put prices could you put what you would charge individually? That would be great and I'm sure other people would like to know what you charge individually too. I like that you actually set a price. I've seen so many videos and they talk about the "price"and what the variables are but not anything set in stone which the way you explain is so helpful. You got a new follower in me 😁
Love love love your videos.... Its even more fun to follow 'em. I have a question about how to store the chocolate goodies that you make..since i stay in humid climate so storing chocolates is a task....seeking your guidance...thank you!
Hi. I serious love and appreciate how you show your “mistakes” 🙏🏼. My favorites are those Rice Krispy treats!! They were gorgeous! For all that HARD HARD work your doing, you should consider charging double what you did originally 🙏🏼. Underpaying yourself leads to quick burn out.
Hey amazing video! Can u show how you individually wrap everything please ? I loved the way you wrapped you did a great job also . Also for the Oreos did u bake them ? What did u do to the Oreos ?
that’s awesome!! best of luck ♥️ the rose silicone mold I got from Amazon (I think I might’ve linked them in the description) I used fondant to make them and once the fondant is dry I color them with edible gold dust!
I use edible gold dust from amazon! I do love the one I have because it is a metallic color when mixed with lemon extract. If it’s not in the description box check back in a bit and I’ll link it ☺️
You definitely can!! Check the expiration on the box/bag ☺️ I’d save it for about 2-3 months but I reuse my chocolate so I end up just using it up before then. Lol
@@SweetSunflowers yes i found mine at Wal-Mart. Works great for baking cookies as well..less than $10....theres one on amazon i ordered as well.. it came with a fondant rolling pin let me find the link and ill list it below

Do you have social media I would like a breakdown of the packages did you say 5 dozen of each one of those? Also how much time do you invest on each order? I'm interested but you sound like you cooking for the tribe at dinner time (I'm a sahm also have been for a while non covid related)
Hello! I do not have any social media but I’d be more than happy to answer any questions. It’s 1 dozen of each, so in total in the package it is 5 dozens that the customer is getting. ☺️
I love your rice crispy treats and chocolate covered Oreo cookies, they are absolutely beautiful! Also, I was wondering if treats with gold painted fondant flowers are included in your $100 packages? Your prices are very low, I know that you want reasonable prices for your customers but you must value your talent and time as well. Businesses must make a profit to thrive, breaking even is for things you do for a hobby. May God bless your family and business.
So sorry for the superrrr late reply but no, fondant details are extra and I would charge an additional $5 for gold, rose gold, or silver coloring. For fondant the package is $125! Thank you for your well wishes 💕
Creative work.👌 I am looking for ideas to start my cake business. Is it possible to know where to find this pretzel sticks? I searched the Internet and did not find the same type. Thanks for the detailed explanation.
How much extra would you have charged to package everything up? Can you do a video where you show how you package everything in the box. I'm curious to know how everything is stored for delivery, especially when it's not individually wrapped. Thanks. I love your videos, keep them coming. Lol
Yes definitely! I would have charged $5 extra, just to cover what I spent for material not really my time but maybe that will change because it does take up time to do that as well!
Also prices are completely different depending on where you live do you live in New York do you live in Canada do you live in California do you live in Texas.... So that person supplies are going to be different; some things may cost more in certain areas some things may cost less
Hi there ♥️ you can do them even a week in advance! I like to do mine the day before or same day but it just depends on how many orders I have on that day and pick up time! I put everything in cupcake liners and place them inside a box and in a cool dry place! I don’t put them back in the fridge because what will happen is if you put them in the fridge especially for a long period of time and you take them back out, the chocolate will sweat and they will look like they have little water drips on top and around!
I’m thinking of making a video on this since I’ve gotten this question a couple of times and that way you all can see exactly what I’m talking about referring to the “sweat”
@@buppigonzalez it depends on how booked I would be but normally I would need an order put in at least 2 weeks in advance and deposit of half the total 1 week in advance. If you’re busier or would like more security I would do 3 weeks notice in advance and 2 weeks before date to receive deposit!
Honestly I used way more black than I thought I was going to use to darken the red to a burgundy color. I would say ratio of red to black would be 1 part red 2 (maybe even 3) black!
All together ☺️ 1 dozen of each item (5 total) for $100 with just sprinkles. If I’m doing something like what I did in this video with fondant, I charge $120 and if they want good coloring that’s an additional $5. Hope that helps!
I’m just getting started so it’s so helpful to hear prices because for some reason I see no one really talks about prices! ☹️ I’ve been under charging! Lol and Oreos use so much chocolate. Do you have an Instagram? I would love to follow you ❤️

There might be someone with cheaper prices but VALUE 👏🏼 YOUR 👏🏼 WORK 👏🏼 remember you’re charging for what you know how to do and what others don’t! And I do not ☹️ thank you for your support ♥️
I was undercharging too!! I'm semi-new to this. But pricing is the hardest thing for me. I don't know if I'm charging too much or too little. Plus no one talks about pricing. I love these videos!
❤😂YOU SHOULD HAVE SPONGE 🧽 BOB OUT OF YOUR RICE CRISPY TREATS OR SMALL MARSHMALLOWS MADE FOR THE EYES 👀 AND LIPS 👄 MADE OUT OF TIWSTLERS OR TWISTLER SHOE STRING CANDY OR SOUR STRINGS ECT.
The marshmallows @ 9:29 if you want to make them even better you could make some caramel or melt some and dip them in the caramel before they are dipped in the chocolate and they are SO GOOD 😋
I noticed that the red melts you used looked like they had melted in the bag. I realize you will be melting them again but I have found that when I have accidentally purchased melts that were melted in the bag they acquire a strange, almost stale flavor to them. I refuse to sell bad chocolate to my customers. I only mentioned this because if you encounter the same issue you might want to taste your melts before you dip anything in them. This way if they don’t taste good you won’t be wasting any of your other items by using the chocolate on them. Another suggestion is if your not fond of the flavor of the melts you can add an oil based flavoring(orange oil, or almond oil, etc.. ) or powdered flavoring(ground, dehydrated strawberries) to flavor your chocolate. Just remember the powder flavor may also color your chocolate, but the dehydrated, powdered strawberry is a great way to add a new flavor to your chocolate.😁👍

Hi,
How many days before the event do you make the treats? And how do you store them, specially the marshmallows?

How did you get your roses gold?
You should try out silcone mats...they work great for fondant and an easy non stick surface for chocolate dipped items
