Really clear and concise explanation. The best I've seen. I'd love for you to cover the other nemesis variations! In particular the Chytrid variation for nemesis Lockdown.
Great explanation. This really saved me some time reading the rules. One note: I believe the word is pronounced Met-uh-gor-ger, instead of Met-uh-gor-gur. You know know - like when you gorge yourself, you are eating until you are over-full.
Thank you so much for explaining this! Carnomorphs are pretty complex but now I understand how to play them! And from me also: Please make more videos like this for the other intruder types :)
Thank you for the very clear and thorough explanation. It made me realize I still have these models unpainted in the box and gave me he motivation to finish them some can put them to good use
One slight thing with the getting a character mutant card, it says earlier in the rules, under Character Mutation Cards, that when a player is instructed to draw a Mutation card, they draw 2 from the deck, pick 1, and shuffle the other in the deck again. With this demo only 1 was drawn only.
Ciao raga, domanda su Carnomorph…. In quale momento del gioco vai ad inserire i gettoni proteomostro e carnefice nel sacchetto dell intruso per poi poterlo pescare nel caso successivamente ?
I just finish playing this version today, April 07 2023 after watching this video and reading the rules but something didn't work quite right, like we only fight 1 shambler ( wich evolve from the metagorger) and like 6 metagorger, I didn't have a chance to fight the other 3, problem was we start with 1 blank token and 1 metagorger token, but when we add the other shambler or the butcher o the others? Like... How we add those to the bag?
@@abelkok2391 I think the "lurking" event card overrules the part about the butcher not being able to enter vents. That is the only way I can think of for the butcher token to get in the bag, otherwise it would be weird that they gave us an explanation on what to do if the "queen" token is drawn from the bag in the manual on page 7. I could be completely wrong but thats how I've played it so far
Played it tonight. The only way it made sense was when a butcher or fleshbeast spawned through feeding, and then retreated through a technical corridor, therefore removing the token from the carnomorph board and back into the intruder bag. We could not find anything in the expansion rule book that explained this, so we defaulted to the base game rules for returning tokens to the bag
@@alexcull I didnt think of this, but this is the only thing that makes sense. What doesnt make sense is that the rulebook explains what happens when you draw the butcher, since he cant retreat through technical corridors
@@sedraniM You're right! I double checked the box pieces. The butcher gets into the bag not through escaping via the technical corridors, but via the "Lurking" event card, which states: "remove from the board all carnomorphs which are not in a room with any character except metagorgers. Put their respective tokens into the Intruder Bag." There are two of these cards out of the total 20 event cards provided with the expansion.
@@yarrickjeuxdilemmeduroi1651 TY. It is silly that this isn't mentioned in the rule book. I played the void seeders expansion first and it came with all the needed tokens. What would really suck is not having Nemesis, and trying to use the carnomorphs with the Nemesis: Lockdown game. The kickstarter provided rules and cards to allow all aliens to be played for both games. It did not provide the appropriate tokens for carnomorphs, however. It is pain to need to have Nemesis around to get the tokens so these aliens can be played in Nemesis: Lockdown.
Thanks for the video. I have one question due to a situation I ran into after watching this video and then playing. Can a shambler eat another shambler? Similarly, can Fleshbeasts eat shamblers to evolve into butchers? (This is incase of no heavy objects in a room and there are only other carnomorphs to eat, potentially). Thanks!
Thank you for the clear video. A bit more attention to detail would be helpful, though. For example, you kept saying "Adaption" instead of "Adaptation" (and used the wrong word on a transition screen), and could have checked with the community on the right way to pronounce "Metagorger". Not a big deal, but it was a bit distracting.
Indeed, I find it odd that many native speakers struggle with this, I've heard it mispronounced on so many channels. I immediately linked that to the verb "to gorge" (on food, for example), and Metagorgers simply gorge on, well, food of a different kind :D

This guy created this channel, made one epic video, and left the internet.
Legend.
He was probably attacked by Carnomorphs afterwards
He's definitely waiting for Retaliation
Kinda wild really

Utterly surprised that this is your only video. Do more. Your style is great. Audio quality is fantastic.

Awesome tutorial. Answered a lot of questions regarding the Carnomorphs Expansion, thank you.
Very nice run down! I’m sharing this for sure.
Awesome. Best explanation I've come across!
Great material, please keep up the good work, you have a good workshop and approach.
Can we expect similar videos for the rest of Nemesis' content, like Voidseeders and aftermath? This video was amazing and very high quality!
Awesome and Clear explanation! Thank you!
Great explanation, thx
Great video, you should do more !
Love it. Please do more.
Thanks! Very clear!
The metagorger is always removed from the board when it attacks, and then you add one shambler token to the bag.
Amazing video. Thank you!
Also, where did you acquire the clear cases for the the intruder tokens?
Bought them on eBay
Отличный монтаж, атмосферно! 👍
I give this 68 out of 69 noise markers
Great video - what coin caps are these? 🤔
Where’d you pickup the token covers

Lol, you mention this later in the vid 😁

Is the butcher token placed in the bag? if so, when? at the start? Awesome video!
If through some event card he goes in the vents
@@grimmbreak But the rulebook also says that the BUTCHER is too Massive to go into the vents so it will just stay on the board.

What sleeves are you using? The seem to fit well, large and small!
Probably dragonshield perfect fits
Where does this blank token come from? Where do the Shambler tokens come from? My expansion never came with these.
You must use some tokens from original game and it is not told in rules book

This was very good, why you don't have one for each race in nemesis.
Great content! However, im not so sure a metagorger stays on the board if you already have a mutation
In fact, it's stated in the FAQ that you have to remove the metagorger

Is anybody interested in buying the board game including all the expansions brand new unopened with a few extras (all in pledge) $400
It’s pronounced “Gor-Jer” not “Gor-Ger”. Pronounce it like the word Gorgeous.
