      Hi abdennour hocine! Our blog post goes a bit more in-depth on the topic of supply chain analytics: www.impactmybiz.com/blog/blog-supply-chain-disruption-analysis/. We do not currently have any content around data science specifically, but we've found this article to be a helpful introduction to the topic: www.northeastern.edu/graduate/blog/data-science-supply-chain-management/.

    What is the difference between Business Intelligence and supply chain analytics?

    • @ImpactMyBiz
      @ImpactMyBiz  2 года назад +2

      Hi, Jolene thanks for asking! The main difference is that business intelligence is the practice of properly managing data and using analytics platforms/software in any industry. Supply chain analytics involves business intelligence but is more focused on gaining insight specifically into the supply chain. This could involve things such as inventory management or connecting data from multiple parts of the supply chain to properly analyze issues.

      @@ImpactMyBiz Thank you for your reply and for your prompt response!! Would you say that if BI is implemented correctly and effectively, that it would improve supply chain analytics?
      Would you also say that if real-time BI is not effectively implemented whereby the organisation has adopted real-time BI but lack understanding and knowledge behind the information system and its benefits, it would impact supply chain analytics performance?
      I would so greatly appreciate if you could please elaborate more on the differences and relationship with real-time BI and supply chain analytics.

    • @ImpactMyBiz

      Of course! We are always here to help out!
      If BI is implemented you will certainly gain lots of new insights from analytics across the board in the business, especially in supply chain analytics.
      There would definitely be issues if BI was not effectively implemented and the team did not properly understand how to leverage them. Of course, if everybody on the team was trained on the systems and had the proper support channels that would be the way to assure the business is running at peak efficiency.

    • @ImpactMyBiz

      It really depends on what you are planning to do, but in certain scenarios, it definitely could be useful to know how to program! Thanks for asking!
