Sorry for the sad ending this week everyone - It was so heartbreaking to go through all Puddin's footage to make this video. I know so many of you have watched this channel from the early days when Puddin was the Captain, so I wanted to keep you updated and share his best bits with you - Heidi x x
We're all very glad you put this one together Heidi. Puddin is very special to us all. You and Jakki gave him a great life and you immortalized him in lots of video clips. So in many ways - in our minds and hearts and in your videos - he will live forever. I toasted his life along with you - I used my 8yr old "just for sippin'" El Dorado rum. I must admit that I choked up - and not from the rum either. And me, a big tough retired Firefighter eh? Let's all do a flippin' big group hug. {{{{ Luv ya }}}}

You both looked after him like a baby, the boots, the wheels' the pushchair the very best of attention from you and Jacki. He had a long and happy life but I'm sure you must feel the loss terribly. My birthday was 21st September and I reached 50. Puddin melted my heart and I know he had the best life. Sending love form someone who lost their own puddin 7 years ago.
That's the hardest bit having a pet, brings lots of fun & happiness but there's always tears at the end, after a while the memories brings us smiles & laughter.
Absolutely heart broken they are not just dogs they are family and so much more loyal than us humans,he had the most beautiful little face sending my love and thoughts to you and Jackie at this incredibly sad time. Rip beautiful little pudding the boat will not be the same without you sitting in your favourite spot cruising. 💔 😢🐶🌈

So sorry for your loss of little Pudding. It's been a sad week for Britain and the Commonwealth with the death of Queen Elizabeth II. I watched all the funeral footage down here in New Zealand and it was amazing viewing. King Charles and his coronation will be next to view and wasn't princess Anne amazing at her mother's funeral.
Think of Puddin often and reflect not in the sadness of the loss but the joy that he was given the best life he could of have possibly had and that he was greatly loved. He would have asked for no more.

People who have never lived with a dog have no idea just what a close, special relationship it is-quite unlike any other. When my wonderful Lakie Rosie passed away, 6 years ago, I mourned her for a good 12 months, even though I still had my other Lakie, Quorra, so you and Jakkie have my deepest sympathy for your sad loss. Although you have lots of video of little Puddin, I know it will be painful for you both to watch at the moment, but it will get easier with time and there will come a time when you can watch him and say "do you remember when he did that" or "he was at so-and-so place in that video". Hi Heidi YOU made that a happy ending despite being a very sad situation. You are very and multi-talented. And Jackie, Pudding, yourself and all your "hearties" make an enormous contribution to a lot of people's lives, which is very unique and special Heidi. So thank you sincerely. We've had dogs since I was 1 year old and I slept like one of her pups on the warm tummy of "Penny" (Penelope Tango) the first one (Boxer) when I was about 3 years old and often in front of an open hearth fire. And we've had boats since I was about 6 years old so I can very much relate to and appreciate all of your amazing videos. These guys our four legged best friends need us and our love and care in the world and they break our hearts when they go to sleep but it's worth the pain and sorrow for all the joy laughter and unconditional love they give Pass our condolences on to Jackie and thank her too for sharing Pudding ! Here in the US we loved the Queen too. Always watched any specials about the Royals we could get over here. Watched all the week after she passed and the day of her funeral I was up at 4:00 a.m. and watched for over 9 hours straight. She was loved by all. And puddin. So sad and so sorry for your and Jackie's loss. Tell her we all are so sorry. Take care and find yourself some company and please stay safe out there.
So sorry you lost Pudden, he seemed like he was such a nice companion. I have lost dogs due to illness and old age and it is very distressing. I would look into getting another dog. I know he will not be a replacement, as you can never find another Pudden, and you will have happy memories about him as the pain form his loss fades somewhat, but putting your attention to another little buddy you have to take care of will help you heal. I am so sorry you lost your buddy...lots of hugs!

Here in the US we loved the Queen too. Always watched any specials about the Royals we could get over here. Watched all the week after she passed and the day of her funeral I was up at 4:00 a.m. and watched for over 9 hours straight. She was loved by all. And puddin. So sad and so sorry for your and Jackie's loss. Tell her we all are so sorry. Take care and find yourself some company and please stay safe out there.

So sorry you lost Pudden, he seemed like he was such a nice companion. I have lost dogs due to illness and old age and it is very distressing. I would look into getting another dog. I know he will not be a replacement, as you can never find another Pudden, and you will have happy memories about him as the pain form his loss fades somewhat, but putting your attention to another little buddy you have to take care of will help you heal. I am so sorry you lost your buddy...lots of hugs!
