Sweet! Been wanting a fluence modern ceramic for my KM7 Mk III forever but it wouldn't fit in the routes. Definitely going to get one of these for it now! Are there any differences from a normal fluence modern besides aesthetics and voice 3?
Dude! That's exactly what I've been wanting since I got my guitar. The KM pickups are great but I want something with more output and didn't want to have route out the cavity more.
So you can no longer choose between Voice 1 & 2 in single coil mode, but in return you get a much more optimised single coil tone? Interesting... My first (and currently only) Fishman loaded guitar is a Cort KX507 and this does have both the voice change and coil split. Most guitar brands don't seem to implement both on the Moderns so perhaps they will start doing this now there is a dedicated single coil voicing. Would be cool to see a 7 string variant of the single width. I can see there is an 8 string variant, only if you buy Javier Reyes' new signature LTD which actually looks really cool!
I have a few Jackson Pro Series Dinky DK Modern Ash with the Fishman Fluence Open Core pickups in there. I need to try out these blades moderns! The open cores have been my favorite so far.
Great video! kudos for releasing the blade version. I can't wait for a proper demo of the 8 string version. I'm sure the multiscale community will appreciate it!
Ken! Hey.. So, with the open coil humbuckers, is the magnet in between the blades, like most "blade" pickups? I'm asking mostly because I prefer to use an Alnico V pickup, but I remove the spacer(s) on either, or both sides, and replace them with thin Ceramic magnets. Would I be able to do that with these? Thanks.
Totally can, I think they have the wiring diagrams for it on their site. Just need two push/pull knobs. One of them will switch between voice 1/2 and the other will just go to voice 3 no matter what the 1/2 is set to
P90? I don't know what that means, but how about the fishman modern series, but this time they have pull pieces instead of blades. That must be what you are asking for.
I love Fishman, but the amount of buzz words in this video is hilarious
I also love Fishman, but let's be real: buzzwords is all modern pickup brands go by nowadays with new models lmao
No, it's Ken, not Buzz 😂
@@Sticky_Tea OOOH! I almost missed that joke. I must've been on Zombie Autopilot.

Bridge sounds so perfect in this demo

Ken Susi?! What a legend!
Exactly what im looking for, for the 8 string

Can you drop these into an Ibanez AZ 7 string guitar or would you have to route some space out? Thanks!
awesome !
what amp, booster and other stuff did you used in recording this demo? i'm asking because it sounds excellent i want that tone too 😁
Are these still the same as the open core classics? Or am I getting things mixed up
Is this the same as the new Modern Line? Just with the different look right?
When the F are we ever gonna see the Steph carpenter set in 6 string format again. Love the tweaking to the active voicing
How do you access all three voicings in a single pickup/single volume knob configuration?
I would install a 3 way mini toggle
@@TheKensusi Yeah, I just really like the simple look of a single pickup and knob. I assume there's no such thing as a 3-way push/pull volume knob?

Unfortunately, not, we wouldn't recommend attempting to modify our pickups in this way.
@@Fishman_Music In that case (assuming there's one magnet per bobbin), is it possible to have one made that's half Ceramic and half Alnico V?

Put the new open core modern bridge with old modern neck?
Can you get all voicings with one 3-way pickup selector switch, one volume pot, and one tone pot? If so, how? (PRS SE Custom 24)

So, these are essentially the Heafys without the cosmetics?
The Heafy were literally moderns with an added voice and a gold stripe...
Can we get better international shipping rates please? Shipping 1 humbucker to Canada cost $44 USD. Should be like $25 max with ground.
How I wish they could also make a single coil version of this. I really don`t prefer to use the fishman fluence single coils with staggered poles.
What's the difference?
@@vhcxhbvg Consistency between strings, especially when bending notes. It would also look cooler.
I second that! My HS Ibanez is just waiting for a hot rails single coil from Fishman to get a new pair of pickups
Can the modern soapbars mount be swapped with these?
Yes.
What about a model with P90 voice?
THIS.

@@KolaTheBear P90 is a type of single coil pickup in soapbar format with a particular sound to it, not quite like a standard single coil or humbucker.
@@KolaTheBear It would have to be 6 pole pieces in the center.

These all sound the same as your other videos.
