Irradiation plants are notable for 3 things: -There's almost always a decent amount of anti-radiation suits, Prussian Blue and KI tablets inside, so the radiation isn't that bad if you can break in. You can find good raw crafting materials, vehicle parts, tools and (non-perishable) food. Also, one of only 3 places the Industrial ID card can be used. - 40 pristine solar panels on the roof can kickstart a deathmobile project. You could even combine the solar panels with the reinforced glass inside the plant to make Reinforced Solar Panels (in 0.G Stable, not sure if anything changed). - In longer playthroughs/with NPC needs enabled, long-term food planning becomes more important. The irradiation system lets you preserve the fruits and vegetables en masse quickly. However it still requires Computer skill to unlock, and honestly I usually lose my characters to overconfidence or boredom instead of starvation. Love the series, keep up the good work!
The stuff is actually kinda cool irl, there have been some "events" tho were some peps have died. Think they actually sent a camera in one to see what you could see inside it..wierd Strange eerie light forgot exactly the mechanism but its actually some scarry stuff the same tech could be used as a planet killer from thousands of light years away irl.
I recently found out the best way to survive in a campsite I made from scratch in CDDA . I started as a survivalist and set up camp in a clearing in the middle of the forest, built an improvised shelter, a fire pit and crafted a clay pot. Luckily there's a cave nearby if I have to take cover from a portal storm until I build more fortifications in the clearing.
I lost a world with more than 1 month of progress due to misclick, I'll only come back when they release another stable version, thanks for the videos ❤
Man i love ur channel. Your channel is remind me of a BlindRL that play dwarf fortress. And oc I like this game but the complexity is pretty much horror me haha
The torso damage is not because you got " hit " by the zombies, but because they were suffocating you. Power armor is the best way to die suffocating in the middle of a horde lol
Hey Chris I just wanted to say thank You. Because of your guides i've confidently raided my first Army Base! (Not lab because all the ones i've found are too cold and I can't find the good clothing)
the casual mention of a goon cave is so fucking funny.

Thanks for info ;)
Iirc, the irradiation plant can be used to actually irradiate food, which preserves it forever.
Ohh so that’s why there was so much food. Tbh when I found irradiated food I used to avoid it because I thought it would give me radiation sickness xD
@@ChaosChrisRUclips Common belief irl too! Thankfully, I don’t believe that it does, ingame or irl.
@@quartzmech5661my god. I became smarter

As long as nothing nothing nasty will pay you a visit you should be fine xd
@@ChaosChrisRUclips My primary worries are the portal storms, and the Shadow and it's amalgamations.

I’m happy you enjoy ^^
Hi Is this Cdda modded or just experimental ?
Just experimental, everything I use is in the description.

Good to know xd
