As a matter of fact I'm making a new RUclips channel for my son and his friends and I'm going to be revisiting this to make the banner. I watched a bunch of videos in this was the only one that made it easy. If you're making youtube banner this is the video to watch.

Definetly one of the better beginners tutorials for creating Channel Banner. My only questions was the guides are supposed to be 2560 x 1440 and yours were little different.
