How to make a cribbing carrier for fire apparatus

This video shows how I built a few cribbing carriers for Truck 5, HCFR.
The patterns were made from 1/8 in hardboard, and the carriers from 3/4 in plywood. This is an improvement over the aluminum boxes that had to be carried in front, or by two firefighters. Comments are welcome.

Very cool. Do you have paper or electronic plans for this? If so, can you furnish a link? In our community we get CERT training, but the cribbing is only a small portion of that training-we need more!
