I just watched the movie and I don't understand how that could be Lily's body they found in the barrel. . .? She went missing 20 years ago. Are they saying she's been in this barrel all that time?
While at the distillery Charlie and the News reporter lady only found Lily's hair in a barrel of whiskey. After leaving the police station the news reporter lady tried to convince Charlie she might have dementia. That's why Charlie is still posting Lily's missing pamphlets. Take care.
@@CooterMr Oh, i guess I thought it was more than just the hair. And yes I got that part about her having memory loss or dementia, just didn't get how there would still be a body intact after so many years. Thanks for your clarification :)
@@CooterMr I watched that brewery scene a second time. It was Lily's body in the barrel not just the hair, the police chief gave Charlie Lily's heart locket necklace they took from her body.
Nice of you to give a scene by scene listing but doesn't really clearly just explain the ending. I thought I would come find the answer quickly in the comments. But only 1. 😆 still if wish you luck and more views and comments. Thanks.
I think the whiskey heir Chip Carmichael. He was a mommy's boy and liked little girls. Lilly's hair was found in a large container in the run down building where whiskey used to be made. Cops thought he did it too. Chip killed both girls. My theory.
@@CooterMr The palm prints on the daughters chest and stomach (supposedly from rape) don't look like they are from trauma, too perfect and thin. Also the whole palms are printed, from a hit or holding tightly they would look different. Therefore it's probably a scheme to extort him for money, and she painted them herself. Which the woman who is with her actually said that they wanted money. Also when he shoots her when she screams accusations it is made to look like he is angry that the truth is out, but remember she is pointing a shotgun at him and his daughter therefore it may be as well self-defense. So there is no hard proof he is a rapist or a murderer, quit the opposite clearly fake looking palm prints point to him being framed by his supposedly lover and his daughter (not unheard of situation).
You left out the ending shoot out at the trailer and the big reveal!

@@traceyc822 I was confused like you, waiting for police to tell Charlie they found Lily in the barrel.

So who kidnapped lily?

@@CooterMr Then why was the police chief trying to pin it on Charlie? To please the Carmichael's?
If you look at the ending and analyze it you will see that things are not what they seem.
Please explain. Would much welcome your analysis. Take care.
