People always say underrated on every band/song in existence. I've even seen people say for example, RHCP or Beatles songs are underrated 😂😂😂😂 But...i feel Living Colour are really underrated.
Probably just an overdrive pedal would work. You want it enough in the chorus and you can roll your volume down a little bit for the verses to clean it up.
A lot of beginners think of bends as just something to do to a note. They forget the control and use of the bend. They forgot that for example, bending an A note changes it's pitch. They seem to just aimlessly bend the note with no control.

Just study Gary Moore and you find out that binding is a art. Most covers of Still got the blues are out of tune by wrong binding.
