Just bought a 2020 red Jetta SEL today! I love it! Before test driving it, I thought that it would be under powered, but it is not! Funny thing is that years ago, I bought a Jeep Patriot, which was also a 4 cylinder. I thought that the Patriot would be under powered, and it wasn't! They are sure building some better 4 cylinder vehicles these days, and I'm sure that "Coche Rojo" ( that means 'red car" in Spanish ) will bring me many years of driving pleasure!

Great review ! I have the 2020 Jetta s manual and I think it's a super fun car and even though everyone says it's "cheap" it feels luxurious to me. Lot of review out there saying it's not a fun car but I've owned miatas and fiat turbos and this car does not leave me wanting. I think Volkswagen has captured something here. Fun, looks and practicality. Hard to get all that in one car but I feel they have done it.

Germans tend to use boring colors in their cars and bikes. 50 shades of gray or silver. I know from experience. Tornado Red works though.
