Not everyone prefers to drive a box on the wheels.

VWs are nice cars to drive. They're not nice cars to own long-term. If you want a VW, lease one and get it out of your system.

The only brand where every lessee who tries to trade in a vehicle is ALWAYS upside down. Don’t lease one!

This generation of Jetta is significantly inferior dynamically than the previous gen. Less power with an unnoticeable practical fuel economy increase, and the chassis lets it down the most. They put all of the money into interior appointment and materials. It was a risky move that rid it of any driving flavor in order to sell better to the general public. I'm not sure that panned out for them. If you want a VW get the golf. The GLI is passable of you really want a German sedan at a somewhat lower cost.

Never buy a modern VW. After 1995 their build quality started going downhill!
