Just got a huge nugget in the press conference. Guyton said he’s more comfortable on the left side. I think the reason he played RT was because they had a left handed QB so they needed guyton to play the blind side on the right. That just made me more excited about this pick.
Micah I feel was wrong for his body language towards Guyton . Imo . That man is still his team mate. let's give the man an chance. He has not made any moves yet on the field. micah is a monster, but he's not a coach or a scout. he has a right to his opinion and his gut reaction, but it doesn't really mean anything as long as he doesn't harass the rookie in the locker room or dive at his knees on the practice field
and you're right about film study - until a couple of weeks ago the only tape available on guyton was the texas game, so most people's opinion of the player was based on rumour and conventional wisdom

@@charlesbudd7694 the Houston tackle was 2nd or 3rd round grade. I’m fine with the pick he was the last 1st round tackle on the board. The only knock is passing on Barton which is what most are mad about but we will get our center/guard. That extra 3rd helps especially with no action in free agency.
