  • My wife ordered this Systembuild Evolution Two Door Storage Cabinet and asked me to assemble it.
    I was never a fan of ordering furniture or cabinets online, that you have to assemble. I would rather go somewhere local, where I can buy it, and have it shipped to my house, already assembled.
    But, being budget conscious and not wanting to spend a lot of money on something that we may not like after we get it, we opted to give some of these assemble at home products a try.
    We started with a dresser from my kids bedroom from IKEA. As it turns out, it was easy to put together and has held up for a few years now.
    Then we bought a portable kitchen island and put that together. It's been a solid piece of furniture experiencing daily use for many years, now.
    So, with this two door storage cabinet, we are hoping for the same results.
    In this video I simply share my experience in reading directions and assembling the pieces.
    If you want to know if the cabinet is still holding up, ask me in the comments below. Assembly date 02/12/2023
    Thanks for visiting the channel. We are happy to see you!

    So very thankful your instructional video! I assembled two units while watching you build for your wife. I replayed for each I one during my builds. Checking another project off my Honeys to do list, happy he is! Your Son a sweetheart, God Bless you and the ones you Love.

    Thank you so much for posting this video. I'm a female, have never put a cabinet together, and was told the manufacturer had a tutorial video. There was no video. I found yours. It gave me the confidence I needed. Most important. You explained what a Cam Lock was and how it worked. I would have been lost without this information. I am very appreciative. 👍

      I'm happy it helped. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Our cabinet is in the hallway, and so far its holding up well.

    You are adorable! I am “fluffy” too! 😝 but I am also 71…lol. Thank you so much for this assembly instruction video as I am a widow and will be attempting this project myself. 😬
    You have given me confidence that “I can do ALL things not only through Christ Jesus” but also through your video! 😊 (see what I did there with scripture… Lol) 😂 Be blessed my video friend and thanks again for this video!

    Putting the doors on was by far the hardest part for me.

      Yes, two people would have made the doors easier to install. And I agree with your other comment, too. So far, ours is holding up well, in the hallway next to the bathroom.

    Well done! We bought two of these cabinets and I'm putting them together now. I have to say it's far cheaper material than I thought it was. Feels a bit weak and flimsy but it looks good.

      You are exactly correct. I had the same thoughts. Ours is holding up pretty good in the hallway, and using it for linens and such.

    Thank you for showing how to put most of this together on a table. I have bad hips and knees, and getting on the floor is excruciatingly painful. I have 2 of these to put together for my guestroom/office. I’ve had Sauder cabinets, which held up great for many years. I hope these will also. I will be using your video as I build them.

    Thanks so much for this video! It’s like you helped me build it even though I was by myself! I’m not quite done, my doors ended up crooked and won’t close smoothly. I suppose I can loosen and tighten to adjust. It will take a bit more tinkering. Thanks again!

    Thank you sir we got our cabinet in with no instructions and the pdf on Amazon was the incorrect file for the cabinet. You saved me a bunch of headache.

    I’ve watched this video several times and my B& C panels are facing the same directions instead of facing each other

      Did you ever figure this out? Was it a packaging error? Did they send the wrong part? Or were you able to flip it over, turn it around, and get it to work?

    How would you compare this to a Sauder brand cabinet? About the same? Or slightly less quality?

    • @GebosGarage
      @GebosGarage  7 месяцев назад

      I get about the same, although part of me thinks the Sauder might be a little more heavy duty. The doors on this brand are pretty thin, and light. But, its been in use for several months now, and holding up well.

    Hi how did you accurately install the doors? I made several holes and it was not working

    • @GebosGarage
      @GebosGarage  Год назад +1

      The holes were pre marked. I lines up the hinges, and screwed them in. Having two people for this part would have been helpful, though.

    How long did this take you to put together?

    • @GebosGarage
      @GebosGarage  3 месяца назад

      About 2 hours, but I was also filming. It wasn't bad, really. The hardest part was putting on the doors, trying to hold them in place while screwing in the hinges.

    Is it still holding up?

      It is. It gets light use, though.
