@@joevid1992 thank you so much! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Yes I use my thumb, in this video I think I only used it to damp the lower strings. Sometimes I use it to play notes on the sixth. It’s a very common thing in modern guitar (Jimi Hendrix teaches 😅), you should definitely try, it allows you to play some chord shapes easily, dump unwanted noises and ringing and it can be very useful on lead lines too!
