Well...Cranberries could sound sad or in sorrow or other way of downhill, but there is another side of them. Time after time they are angry in their sound. "Forever Yellow Skies" is my all time favourite. From the latest album, also post mortal album...the song that represents the most of the Cranberries, in my opinion is "Got It"
... Hello, I know it's an old subject, but nothing is old with Dolores ... I am mourning Dolores since the 15/01/2018 and it will be always like this until my death ... Ah la la (sorry it's french as I am), Dolores why were you drinking so much and taking the strongest painkillers (fentanyl ?) at the same time, and this in a warm bath ? I know, your back was so much hurting you for so long years now, that's why you alway gave back the guitar very fast to a crew member ... Me too I was doing that ("not the guitar thing" and I loved it, but it's not every day now ^^), but I am tall, heavy, older than you, only death can kill me ^^ heu sorry for this bad joke ... But how I like this song "Promises", my fav perhaps, such a great rythm, great voice (not so much autotune with Dolores, but in such big places, over dubbing is often the case); "Jodle", Irish Jodle, but most well known, tyrolien Jodlle (Germany and Austria) ... Ok every thing had been said and will be, I was just in the mood for writting some lines about Dolores ... Hey man I am a subs here good job in general ;) .... Oh one info if you did'nt mention it, the place where this concert took place was near Paris in the brand new football (soccer for the US) stadium in front of +/- 80 000 people, the same number that the year before where France won The Wold Cup of Football 1998 ... I was not interested in it, but it's french culture lol !!!
I remember this group during the 90s. Her vocals are what the music industry needs right now. I really enjoyed this reaction as you added some nice input here. RIP to her.
The music industry is watered down right now and she is someone that would help... I totally agree. How is it out there in California? We are getting better in this part of NY state... kids are in school 2 days a week. I cannot wait until the full time thing is happening!!! Thank you and please stay healthy!

Greetings brother. OMG, how have I not heard this song. Wow, her voice is one of the most unique and powerful voices I have ever heard. I get chills listening to any of her music. That place is packed ad they are loving every minute of this performance. I regret not going to see them perform when I was younger. I was too focused on metal, but at least i can check out these awesome reactions. At 7:35 when the solo breaks in is sounds amazing and compliment the song so well. Thanks so much for your reaction and unique perspective. So many amazing artist are gone now and they left behind and amazing legacy, thank god we have recordings to relive every second of it.
Great to see you pop in, Bro! I didn't get that chance to see them either but these videos help keep these classics alive. I just love it when an artist wears their emotions on their sleeves and Dolores did this in every single song she performed. So glad that you enjoyed and respect this band. Thank you so much for the view and support 🤘✌😎👏🙌
Yeah RIP Dolores hell of a voice she had. She does things for me too with her vocals. Incredible as always she was, her legend lives on. Hey even us metal heads respect GOOD MUSIC, and this is just good music period. Regardless if it's alternative, pop, new wave etc.. I good artist is a good artist. I also wanna say that drummer is really good, the whole band is great too. Great reaction as always Mikcheeks!
A little fun fact is that Dolores really enjoyed some metal... she was a Metallica fan. And you're right, good music is good music! Yeah, the drummer was going off back there and simply having a great time. Thanks for all the great support, cheeks 👏🙌✌
Are you serious @Fred G?? I am so jealous but it's GREAT to hear from someone who was actually there. This song right here was amazing... they really brought it! Thank you so much for the view and I appreciate you sharing this with me 👏✌🙌
She was an emblematic artist and I love her first hit, Dreams. This must've taken a lot of research on your part, since it's your 5th video for Dolores. Very well put together as always, I appreciate all the time you are putting into these reaction-tribute videos! Thank you so much and would love to see more videos like this.
Wow, I remember the song Dreams... a great GREAT song by them. Love listening to this Queen do her thing. I appreciate you and all the support you've given me on this RUclips journey... thank you ✌👏👊
When he puts on a show like that then most people should pick up on it. He simply went off in this song. Dolores makes most of her music seem that it's easy for her but I bet she pushed herself to levels us common folk aren't familiar with. This was a great GREAT song and performance! Thank you for the view and comment ✌
That's what I was saying in my head during and after this reaction. It's one that really rocks while showing off an up and down range of her vocals. Just beautiful!!! Thank you for your view and comment :)

It sounds like we are very similar in age as I'm 44 yrs old. I have always loved music and enjoyed it. Sucks that I never did the whole concert thing until I got older. However, if The Cranberries were coming to my area I wouldn't even think twice about seeing them but that will never happen, unfortunately. My comment might have stemmed from the fact that I know most of the older Cranberries content. I'm weak in their content with their "newer" albums... so I might have to focus on there. Thank you for the awesome support ✌
Most of my music was influenced by my cousins growing up, my Oasis to Utada Hikaru. The Cranberries were one of them. Her vocals is so different from anyone elses. Even to this day. Like you said her voice is heavenly. It hits you differently. No present female vocalist from the recent singers doesn't have this appeal. I love your appreciation for her. I can really see your genuine reaction to her and not just u know reaction for the sake of reacting. I can't tell you how much that means to me. No empty compliments, only pure adoration! When I react to Dolores and her mates I feel a mixed bag of emotions. I miss her and truly respect everything she did while she was here on this earth. It's nice to hear you point out that I am not just going through the motions here. You're right. Some of the groups I grew up listening to really didn't want to be all that popular... The Cranberries being 1 of them. Nirvana & Alice In Chains are a couple others. Thank you for the kind words!

It sounds like a good one... please throw me a reminder if a lot of time passes. I usually focus on them around the anniversary of her death. Thank you so much for your time and suggestion 🙌👏✌
Dolores' style of singing is called keening. Keening is a traditional form of vocal lament for the dead it's mainly a Gaelic Scottish and Irish tradition at funerals and at a graveside/death bed. I don't think it's as common at funerals anymore but I could be wrong about that
Thank you so much for passing this information on to me. I have never heard anyone explain this to me so I'm learning something here. As an American I am not familiar with Keeing. Her style is truly unique and that's one of the reasons she stood out to me. I remember sitting there listening to her and thinking that she sounded a "little" like Grace Slick with the way she bended words. I miss her a ton but I'm just grateful for technology delivering all this content to us. Thank you so much for this ✌👏🙌
The inflections in her voice is from a form of traditional Irish singing call Sean nós. Keening is part of Sean nós. A lot of the Irish singers that come from the west coast of Ireland have these inflections in their vocals and she sings with an Irish accent.

I’ve grown up with this band, got all the albums and that, cover their music on guitar etc. Good songs: Sunday I just shot John Lennon I will always Put me down Disappointment Animal instinct Wake up and smell the coffee There’s a few goodens
This is the odd band that I like enough to have bought a couple of their CDs, but don't overly love them. I feel the same way about her voice where her use of her brogue and not trying to sing without an accent makes her both stand out and sometimes be harder to listen to as it is different. Then she also sings with the intentional breaks in her voice which I sometimes like or dislike. The band itself is solid in a good way. They compliment each other well. Neither overehelms the other and can switvh with ease between hard and soft songs. A lesser band couldn't pull off both Linger and Zombie. They seem basic but sirprise you at any moment.
They ARE simple but effective. She has a natural talent and it makes some of the vocal spectrum seem easier than others. I know that I miss her but I have the available content to keep her alive. Thanks, John!! Btw, my youngest is a "Jonathan" but the spelling is obviously different 😊
Great song and incredible vocal performance. Man you need to check out the song 21, if you're a fan of her voice, no video as such for it. But possibly her best vox, especially the outro. 🔥
I am not familiar with that one so I appreciate the suggestion. I bet she let's it all out because that's what she's best at... a very emotional vocalist. Thank you so much ✌🙌👏
If I can get more consistent I'll start a Patreon for $1/month. I don't make anything off these reactions and it does take me a good 8-10 hours of total time to complete. I hate asking anyone for money so I'll keep doing my thing here on RUclips. I do appreciate your support and interest 👊
Thank you for sharing that with me. It's hard to alter the purity of music but this one does an okay job at that. I appreciate your view and comment/link!
Hello.. Can you estimate how many people watch that time in them concert🙏🙏 by the way I'm a fan of the cranberries since 1997 and I was 11 yrs that time ❤️❤️ thanks for your nice upload❤️
I do not know but each of them were watching an angel perform on stage. Imagine if she was still alive... you know she'd still be performing! Thank you for your view and comment 😎
live performances are usually a lot better than studio for visuals and performance ...( no always of course) But Cranberries are better live imo.... Dreams and Linger live are to both great hits from Dolores and boys , definitely worth a reaction.....
The one huge perk I've seen in their live performances is how much emotion Dolores puts into her craft. I mean she goes all out and lets you know when a certain part of the song hits her in the heart. And the drummer is always fun to watch. Great job by The Cranberries here... I thoroughly enjoyed doing this reaction and I hope you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for taking the time 🙌✌👏
It is a pity that the video does not have subtitles, to be able to translate your reaction into Spanish. Greetings from Argentina... I love The Cranberries
Try hitting the "CC" button. Then hit the little gears icon and look for the subtitle option. Select that and then try "auto generate" and you should be able to search for Spanish. I can do it on my end, I just tried it. Please let me know if that works... thank you 😊✌🙌
@@DannymikReacts The CC button tells me that: there are no subtitles for this video. and the small gears icon, there are no subtitles either, but I was able to translate other videos on your channel. Thanks for answering
Or I could just press play and sit there watching the video and not say a damn thing. That's why people enjoy reaction channels, correct? Hope you have a great weekend 👊✌
I will get back to The Cranberries... January is the anniversary of her death. It's hard to believe that I'm only 5 years younger than her. Being such a big fan of then out of high school I never realized how young she was. Thank you, David and happy holidays to you and your family :)

Thanks for doing this! :) You should also react to "Waltzing back" by them - maybe a live version of it too.
It was my pleasure... I miss her dearly! I will consider your request and I want to make sure you know I appreciate your time watching this. Thanks for the comment, too 🙌✌
I’ve grown up with this band, got all the albums and that, cover their music on guitar etc.
Good songs:
Sunday
I just shot John Lennon
I will always
Put me down
Disappointment
Animal instinct
Wake up and smell the coffee
There’s a few goodens
@@louisreeds4942 Same about the growing up & guitar part. My favourite Band. I like all of their Songs, so I'm fine with all your suggestions😄
Hiiii Dad!!!!!
Lime an angel mate , that’s how we all sound in limerick 🤣
She was an angel and sorely missed! Thank you for the interest and your comment ✌👏
@@DannymikReacts Cool. Yeah, I'm just a John. Last of a long line of Johns.
@@johncampbell756 You can always name a pet John :)
@@DannymikReacts LOL True
Great song and incredible vocal performance. Man you need to check out the song 21, if you're a fan of her voice, no video as such for it. But possibly her best vox, especially the outro. 🔥
I am not familiar with that one so I appreciate the suggestion. I bet she let's it all out because that's what she's best at... a very emotional vocalist. Thank you so much ✌🙌👏
@@DannymikReacts well you did describe her vocals as anglic sir..I would pay money to see you react to this song on basis of that statement ! 👌
If I can get more consistent I'll start a Patreon for $1/month. I don't make anything off these reactions and it does take me a good 8-10 hours of total time to complete. I hate asking anyone for money so I'll keep doing my thing here on RUclips. I do appreciate your support and interest 👊
@@DannymikReacts Love to see people react to all the great Cranberries music out there, also looking forward to the documentary due soon..
I do too... I also watch reactions to music I truly appreciate! The documentary will probably get me a little emotional if I'm going to be honest.
Here's a heavier version of this beautiful song. Peace!

Thank you for sharing that with me. It's hard to alter the purity of music but this one does an okay job at that. I appreciate your view and comment/link!
the song is about will England offer Peace to Northern Ireland, and will they keep that promise, but it can also work on a daily basis
That's the beauty about music. You can have your own opinion of how it relates to you. Thank you!!
We only lost Dolores cuz God wanted an Angel to rock with. RIP Dolores.
An incredible talent taken way too soon. Thank you for checking this one out!
R.i.p dolores 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
She truly was 1-of-a-kind and so dearly missed. Thank you for the view & comment :)
Wait till you hear the voice of my request for Lisa stansfield lol
She has a voice 😍
I'll try to get to this one... anyone else do reactions to her or are the record labels a bunch of a$$holes? Take care!
Yes others have done reactions to her both music videos and live performances
live performances are usually a lot better than studio for visuals and performance ...( no always of course) But Cranberries are better live imo....
@@jircv I will check my settings to see if there's something not selected. I'm sorry for this.
@Ariel Ros can you try now?? I think I fixed it
please, continue to pause the song every 10 seconds, I like it
Or I could just press play and sit there watching the video and not say a damn thing. That's why people enjoy reaction channels, correct? Hope you have a great weekend 👊✌
React to Delilah!!! She makes a version really powerful too
Are you telling me that Delilah performed Promises as well? Thank you for time...hope stay healthy 🙌👏
No post editing here. Just post-production. This is pre-autotune
RIP to her... that beautiful voice will always play on in my world!
DOLORES ORIORDAN the best
What stands out to me about Dolores' voice is its unapologetic Irishness. She doesn't try to sound American.
If anything I think that her "Irish Accent" makes her more special than she already was... I love everything about it! Thank you for your time!!
Dolores was the last fae queen. We didn't deserve her.
I miss her so much... thankfully she left such a large legacy!! Thank you :)
RIP to Dolores :(
Whilst Dolores is the centre piece and focal point, it's not "her music" it's their music.
Obviously I do know this; however, her vocals are the reason this band touched so many hearts. Thank you!
Fair play reacting to this. Everyone focuses on Zombie but this and Salvation are far better tunes.
I love LOVE this song. You are right, toss in Linger and they are the most reacted Cranberries' songs. Thank you so much for your interest here 👏🙌
Dolores' birthday tomorrow, she would have been 50, how about another reaction video ?
I will get back to The Cranberries... January is the anniversary of her death. It's hard to believe that I'm only 5 years younger than her. Being such a big fan of then out of high school I never realized how young she was. Thank you, David and happy holidays to you and your family :)
@@DannymikReacts Cheers, look forward to it sir.
Can you please react to Garbage song called Magnetized
Please
Such a great voice but the lyrics are a bit out there
The vocals and lyrics work for me... she's simply AWESOME! Thank you for your time 🙌✌
