Because Nioh 2 bosses dont follow classic Nioh rules, Kukoi being best example of this, next to Saito Toshimitsu. They get up too fast, for some reason can power through your attacks when at zero ki (which for everyone else, even you, pretty much means you will get knocked to the ground even if you have heavy armor on) and some of them can regenerate insame amount of ki back. In first game, human bosses followed same rules as you, so the same weakness that worked on you also worked on bosses. Then you had bosses like Maria that pretty much threw it out of the window and now every boss is like that.
Man, he is responsible for so many failed missions whenever he appears in depths when I play online. I normally avoid him regardless whether I play online or offline. Every now and then, there's this one player triggers him and... he wrecks all of us to oblivion.
Yo Can you Stream First Berserker Khazaan? I mean like the demo itself. If you dont like it you could switch back if you want. Since the reveal trailer ive been saying...its inspired by Nioh a good amount.
The bosses are fine until you get to Nioh difficulty and then their BS becomes apparent. It was the same in Nioh 1. Even a non-living weapon boss like Tachibana was garbage because the game decides to throw out all the usual mechanics for human enemies. Japanese games have a problem in their difficulties where all they really do is turn up the speed, damage, and TRACKING. So then the cracks start to become apparent like some bad hitboxes. Nioh 2 is better than Nioh 1 in this regard but man it still sucks to go through. I love Nioh but this behavior really sours me on it. I think the sweet spot is Difficulty 2 or 3. At 5, it's just less fun and more restrictive. But again, Nioh 2 is better than Nioh 1 in that regard too. This is way more tolerable since it's not a whole fight of hyperarmor and even gives you an icon. You don't have to deal with the inconsistency and unknown of Nioh 1. And your tools are better like cores. In Nioh 1 it's way worse. I spent an hour playing Tachibana yesterday. Pure cancer that breaks all the rules. I'd argue the living weapon bosses are better even.
He is alright. 6.8/10 not very exciting and only respectable due to “random bullshit go!” type stuff. I’d like him a LOT less if he was in the depths rotations.
They treat you like a monster, but I'd trade all my yokai powers to do half the nonsense some of these people do
Goes from an ok fight to complete nonsense because of that stun armour in the last past of the fight

If its a bald boss, its good boss.
I like this comment. (Because I am also bald) Haha.
OOOF that sword of meditation whiff.
Next video: "Poofer llama, fair or unfair boss?"
no other game has a combat style like this, Nioh 2 is impressive.

The missed bonk is funny. 😄
lol
Nioh May Cry 2: Vergil's Legacy
You sir are MOTIVATED
Might be dumb to ask but.. Where is this boss?
I got full achiev on the game and I didn't see him?
Sub mission rematch in the First samurai.
like with with Toshimitsu he's more of an annoying bosses, mainly because of hyper armor buff like Honda has, other than that he's ok

Honestly I haven't fought against him enough to tell
Between him and Hayabusa I think Hayabusa is more unfair
More of this 🙏🏻

Would have been good if not for the hyper armor.
bad
well, i just remember him before the nerf. Possibly the single worst boss in the game pre-nerf.
Bad boss, his last stand bs @ low health is cheap as hell. Especially when he appears in Depths. Would be fine otherwise
Interesting boss,a bit annoying, 6/10 - Too Much Water
