Wow. Grandma giving lope wet willies. This has to be in the top 2 or 3 vids u've done. I've never seen him sit so calmly & contemplatively w/ out suddenly getting the zoomies & thumping or rolling or spinning or wutever. He just sat there w / biddy quietly & peacefully. In fact, she was the trouble-maker. This footage gives us insight to how he'll be as a silverback. Good job. This was gold.

To: Evo - Something along those lines. There is the case of two 'wild' orcas, a brother and sister, in which tagging has shown that for ten years they have swam together side by side.
One of my favourite clips, because it's about nothing, nothing but Lope and his grandma Biddy just sat cuddled in the sun, she nearly fell asleep on him a few times there and at one point I did think Lope was going to wipe his bogey on granny's head, but in the end, it was Biddy that decided to tease Lope, which was a nice change, bless them.

The current gorilla family at Twycross consists of 6 members, which are Oumbi, Ozala, Biddy, Asante, Lope and Shufai Oumbi ( 30 June 1992) Sons : Okanda 17 Apr 2011 born at Twycross Zoo, Hand raised and now at München Hellabrunn Germany. ( Videos of the family in Munich: ruclips.net/p/PLXC1aShJSBiViApL3h3GqE3i1nmX62v5t) Lope ( 3rd Jan 2013) and Shufai (24th Sep 2016) were both born at Twycross Zoo in England and they are still at the Zoo. Ozala (19 Mar 1994), had four sons and one daughter. Ozala's first mate was Ti. Ozala and Ti had Matadi on the 25th of May 2003 at Twycross Zoo. Then they had their daughter Ndoki on the 3rd of May 2007, but she sadly died on the 29th Aug 2007, unknown cause. Matadi is at the Antwerp Zoo in Belgium with his mate Mayani and they had a baby girl called Thandie.
