As me and colleague worked he came out of building to ask us are we tired, do we need anything for drink or eat. After we said no he sit with us for about 15min and talked like we know each other for years. I was fascinated with his personality and attitude considering who is he. Such a normal guy and such a football legend. Hats down for Alen.

Only Weah and Ginola ever gave me the same feeling as Boksic, the 3 of them were the most spectacular players I've ever seen, yet inefficient. Luckily Ginola and Weah became efficient later on in their careers.

A great striker, unfortunately had some injuroes in key moments. Could've had an even better career. I also met him personally in Makarska (his hometown), he seems very down to earth and friendly.
Brzina, eskivaža, motorika, dribbling, lob... Kompletan golgeter. Šteta, nismo imali sreće da 98.nije igrao. Šuker je za njega bio mala maca, ovo je bio RIS, pravi napadač, radnik koji samo vidi PLIJEN-GOL... Boka ikono!

unfortunately he was injured at EC1996 and WC 1998 and couldn't play for Croatia. 1990 in Italy he was the youngest member of the yugoslav team and also didn't play. Only 2002 in Japan and Corea , 32 years old he played a tournament for Croatia, but at this moment the team wasn't so strong. For the tournements EC 1992 and WC 1994 Croatia couldn't take part in Qualifications
